The Howell Crop Circles and the Illuminati

By Jim Prange*

Part 1 - Introduction

This essay is intended for readers already familiar with the published findings of crop circle investigators, and/or theories about the ancient coalition of royal bloodlines which conspiracy researchers often call  "the Illuminati." The focus of the first half of this writing is on some discoveries that I (with help from several friends) recently made about the crop circles that appeared in Livingston County, Michigan in a field near the city of Howell in July 2003 and August 2006, in light of information about these two subjects. I will not elaborate on the theories about the Illuminati or crop circles beyond the most basic information required to understand my decoding of the Howell crop circles, as that would require a full-length book. Those unfamiliar with the subjects would be advised to read a book on both. On the subject of crop circles, the best book I have read is Secrets In The Fields by Freddy Silva. The best authors in whose works I’ve read what I believe is accurate information on the Illuminati would be David Icke (The David Icke Guide To The Global Conspiracy & How To End It), Jim Marrs (Rule By Secrecy), and William Cooper (author of Behold A Pale Horse, who followed up that groundbreaking book with a modified and more accurate "big picture" in his lesser-known 1997  MAJESTYTWELVE essay.)

The larger 2003 formation (Smaller circle not included in pictures)

The 2006 formation

I believe the information contained within this decoding of the Howell crop formations may provide one doorway to freedom, as it seems to explicitly illustrate that in the makers of most of the genuine crop formations we have allies whose level of intelligence and overall advancement is equally matched, if not superior, to the Illuminati's level of advancement—in other words, they may represent the human race’s strongest allies in the struggle to end the Illuminati bloodlines’ ancient and covert regime, and preventing their long-planned totalitarian global government, often called "the New World Order." By decoding genuine crop formations we will find powerful information, including information that will help  expose the Illuminati’s dark intentions for the human race.

Many people don’t want to hear about anything categorized as “conspiracy theory,” content to conform to the illogical, media-enforced norm of dismissing the possibility of anything with that tag being true. It’s easier, and socially acceptable, to ignore the possibility and laugh it off, without ever having to admit to oneself that the laughter is rooted in fear. However, knowing that the masses have an ally equally matched to the Illuminati’s intelligence would give many more people the courage to investigate this crucial information, which would result in many more people becoming “unplugged” from their brainwashing. The Howell crop circles' message might help accomplish this partly because it exposes a telltale imprint of the Illuminati (a classic display of hidden negative symbolism as frequently described by the above-mentioned authors on the Illuminati) and indicates that the circlemakers intended to expose it for our benefit. The appearance of the 2003 crop formation has also resulted in my discovery of a previously unknown archaeological site, as detailed in this essay. One of the most common themes in the crop circle phenomenon is their proximity to sites such as ancient mounds and stone circles- sites considered sacred by those who marked their location into the Earth. The 2003 Howell formation was unique among crop formations because it has actually resulted in the discovery of such a location. These are some of the reasons why this document must be distributed as widely as possible.

To start with, one thing must be made clear: the 2003 Howell formation was not a hoax. To this date, no (living) human being has been able to duplicate the elongated nodes, cellular-level changes, or other classic anomalies found in all of the most impressive patterns found worldwide; the Howell formation not only contained some of the classic anomalies, it also contained a couple new anomalies to the crop circle phenomenon itself- namely exaggerated expulsion fissures at the nodes, and the presence of smaller circles woven underneath the lay of the main circle. (Click here to read the field report by crop circle investigators Jeff Wilson, Todd Lemire, Dr. Charles Lietzau and Roger Sugden.)

(The 2006 Howell formation, if confirmed as genuine, will also be an anomaly, in that it will be the first crop formation in the U.S. to appear in the same field as a previous crop formation confirmed to be genuine. So far, news of the new circle has been posted on the website Earthfiles; a reproduction of the article can be viewed by clicking here. (After visiting this link, scroll down a couple pages and you'll see it.) In October 2006, Mike Esper noticed the new formation while harvesting his field, and then called up Jeff Wilson, director of the Independent Crop Circle Researchers Association, to report it. Jeff then gathered a team of ICCRA researchers to examine the formation, including Roger Sugden, Dr. Charles Lietzau, Ted Robertson, and myself. So far, it seems that the 2006 circle is probably genuine, as we found no evidence of hoaxing. However, the best test that can be done to determine the likelihood of its authenticity- growing seeds from inside and outside the circle- is still underway. The plants grown from these seeds may be ready to analyze by some time early this year, after which I will post links to the field report, which is also not yet ready to publish.)

The  Howell formations could not have been put there by an unexplained, unconscious force of nature either. The formations, as you will see in this essay, geometrically and artistically reference manmade features on the ground, as viewed from the air. To create such a visual reference requires a conscious intelligence.

Part 2 - The Illuminati vs. The Circle Makers

So why would a group of advanced beings choose crop circles as their preferred method of communication? My answer will come as no surprise to readers familiar with the theory of the Illuminati detailed in the books of David Icke, Jim Marrs, William Cooper and William Bramley, which is that a group of highly advanced non-humans (according to Icke, specifically a race of reptilian humanoids) has been dominating the Earth since at least the beginning of the current wave of civilization, via their hybrid reptilian-human "royal" bloodlines. My answer: because of this situation, crop formations are the only way any advanced beings trying to help us can tangibly communicate with the masses on a large scale.

Although many "conspiracy theories" have been published, the "theory" on the Illuminati explored by the authors mentioned in the first paragraph is by far the most prevalent, apparently through word of mouth as these books are rarely mentioned by mainstream media, despite their prominence in sales in the UFO/Conspiracy category at any bookstore that stocks them. In the next paragraph is a condensation of the theory explored by the above-mentioned authors (of which only Icke goes into detail about reptilians) as well as countless other lesser-known authors:

The dominating group of reptilians, working through an interconnected web of secret societies and bloodlines whose leaders are collectively known as the Illuminati (or the Brotherhood of the Snake), have expertly used classic Machiavellian techniques of leadership and long-term planning to keep their human cattle ignorant and at war with each other throughout the ages. (According to the theory, the reptilians created the homo sapiens species by fusing their genes with homo erectus, thus explaining both the "missing link" shrug in Evolutionism and the Creationism stories of major religions-- this would be the middle ground, the truth resting between the two intentionally polarized extreme viewpoints.)

Knowing that covert domination (achieved through mind control) is far more effective than overt domination (achieved by force), and being few in number when compared to the human masses, their long-term plan over the centuries has been to form a high-tech, totalitarian global government through "baby steps." Factoring in the exponential increase in the availability of information and technology in the last 100 years, it is the Illuminati's hope that their New World Order is firmly in place before the human masses get too smart.

To expand on the subject of the New World Order with my personal theories:

I think that the Illuminati have paced the advancement level of civilization, including the advancement level of publicly-known technology, to develop at a specifically timed rate over the years, in order to sync up with the Earth changes predicted by the Mayans for 2012, so that they can exploit these changes to contribute to the ultimate "end-of-the-world" fear push (helped by their media) needed to scare the masses into submitting to the final stages of the New World Order. This pre-2012 fear push would be mostly induced by the Illuminati, not nature. Meaning, the primary source of fear would come from governments staging "natural" disasters and "terror" attacks, using their media to present their version of events, while the natural Earth changes occurring would be played up by the media to be something different and far more threatening than what they actually are. 9-11 and the Orwellian "War On Terror" would be current examples of the former, while the version of the "truth" behind global warming endorsed by Al Gore & Prince Charles could be an example of the latter. Some future events that I think may be planned by the Illuminati over the next five years to achieve their final New World Order push may include a staged "alien" invasion, and/or an artificial "triggering" of the slumbering Yellowstone supervolcano. (Some believe the "Bible Code" is evidence of "God's influence on the prophet-writers of the Bible" while I think that if the "Bible Code" is real, it's merely more evidence of long-term manipulation by the reptilian Illuminati, designed to get gullible human cattle to dance to their tune when the time arrives. The "Bible Code" apparently predicts a major Yellowstone eruption in 2010, as detailed on a "believer's" webpage found at: http://www.exodus2006.com/yellcode.htm )

I think that one of the methods the reptilians use to control the masses is to try to make make their fears our fears; for them, the ultimate fear, their "end of the world," would be the awakening of the human masses, or the "lifting of the veil." The word "Apocalypse" is directly derived from the Greek word apokalypsis, which means “lifting of the veil” or "revelation." Thus, they have tried to train the masses to fear, and act accordingly to,  the signs of an "Apocalypse." (Read more of my thoughts on the subject by clicking here.) For example, some people fear crop circles, viewing them as potential "signs of the Apocalypse."

On a related note, I think that the Mayans ended their calendar in 2012 not because it's destined to be an actual "Doomsday," but because they specialized in measuring certain natural patterns of the Earth well enough to expect the new calendar cycle begun at that date to be marked by change and renewal, a large enough change where the systems of time measurement within their knowledge used for their calendar would be made obsolete. I think that this shift in the Earth's natural patterns includes physical changes to the Earth that may, for example, be the real cause of global warming, as recently described by David Icke on the "Latest Headlines" page of his website:

"Global warming is being caused overwhelmingly by vibrational change, part of a long-predicted cycle, that is affecting the earth's energy field at an ever-quickening rate. We have seen nothing yet, as they say. The same vibrational change is affecting more and more people and waking them up from the amnesic state the system tries so hard to instill." - David Icke, 2/2/07

It is interesting how some TV shows handle the Mayan calendar issue; one show I saw on the History Channel, “Decoding the Past: Mayan Doomsday Prophecy”, featured interview clips of some experts on the Mayan calendar, which were then misrepresented by the narrator. For example, one of the experts said (and I'm paraphrasing until I locate the script online or record the show) "I don't think it's necessarily a doomsday date;" after that clip, the narrator started his next passage with (paraphrased), "So the Mayan's 2012 DOOMSDAY date..." To read one of these interviewed experts' complaints about how the show handled the subject, read the 2006 article "How Not To Make a 2012 Documentary" by John Major Jenkins.

I think that the reptilians have known about this upcoming vibrational change- and its accompanying effects on both the Earth and the evolution of the masses' consciousness- for thousands of years, and have long seen it as a "due-date" for their New World Order for that reason, and, as I stated earlier, have thus deliberately set the pace for the technological, intellectual and spiritual development of human civilization to be exactly where it's at- the pivotal stage of "adolescence" that human civilization is experiencing right now- in the years leading up to 2012.

It is unclear where the reptilians came from, but I lean towards the theory  that they evolved from a species of dinosaur that survived. The reptilians could be entirely Earthly in origin, though I suppose it's possible their species may have been genetically engineered or (at some point) enhanced by actual extraterrestrials. (I don't know much about genetics, but if the reptilians are at least partially descended from certain species of dinosaur, then it seems more plausible that they would be genetically compatible with other Earth creatures, as opposed to a species that evolved entirely on a  different planet.) Some theories on the reptilians' origin are explored in detail by cryptozoologist John Rhodes at his website: http://www.reptoids.com .

Since the Illuminati have always controlled most of the key leaders in governments, religions, corporations, and major media companies, any opposing groups of advanced beings who might try to reach the masses with information to help our situation would have to use alternative methods for their message to get out. For starters, they could never send an uncorrupted message through the mainstream media networks.

My personal experiences and studies related to crop circles have led me to think that the most likely primary force behind the crop circle phenomenon is an organized coalition of 4th (or higher) dimensional beings, including or consisting of the spirits of our human ancestors, who are possibly assisted in the physical creation of crop formations by the nature-connected spirits that some call "devas."

However, let's say there is a high-tech, highly evolved group of non-human beings who are concerned with the future of Earth (whether these beings are extraterrestrial or Earth based) and are opposed to the Illuminati agenda. If these beings were to, for example, bring some spaceships into plain sight over a large city in an attempt to make contact with the masses, the Illuminati-controlled governments and mass media currently still have the power to shape the much of the public's perception on what is happening, and know that much of the world would believe the official story. If the UFO appearance was significantly more blatant than the Illuminati's own frequent, intentional and tightly controlled UFO appearances, the official version of events presented by the Illuminati media would likely be that it was an “invasion.” I would think that the last thing any advanced beings on our side would want to do right now would be to force the Illuminati to play their "alien invasion" card.

I think that William Cooper's 1997 MAJESTYTWELVE essay is a brilliant summary of the likely truth of this matter: that the Illuminati have been conditioning the masses for a potential staged "alien" invasion. I think that this is something the Illuminati might try, if they think the masses will respond accordingly. Global populations have been subjected to this conditioning for quite a while, from the intentional frequent appearances of the Illuminati's UFOs, to the "War Of The Worlds" broadcast scare in 1938, to the "alien" abduction program (which also doubles as a means of obtaining ongoing genetic information from designated test subjects- multiple abductees- from key human bloodlines), to the consistent slant of TV coverage on the matter, to the bizarrely mutilated cattle sometimes found deposited near crop circles. This is part of why I do not think that contact with friendly extraterrestrials, should it happen, will take the form of "flying saucers on the White House lawn" with the world the way it is at this moment in time.

Based on these factors, my view is that crop formations are currently the best way for any anti-Illuminati, pro-human-rights, advanced entity to get unaltered messages through to millions of people. Examination into the phenomenon is an instant mind-opener, and the valuable messages in them are encoded in a wordless, universal language, transcending the language barrier. The messages encoded in the formations- including mathematical theorems and music- seem designed to help the masses develop intellectual and spiritual awareness. (If "a picture is worth a thousand words," then a picture of a real crop circle is worth at least 10,000 words!) When a real crop circle is properly documented and photographed, and then made known to the public, its message is preserved as hard data that cannot be erased or altered. With crop circles, there is no "middle-man"/gatekeeper required; they are a direct line between the masses and a higher force communicating messages using a tangible, physical medium.

I think that this is why the only sci-fi movies about crop circles allowed to be presented on TV, including the smash-hit atrocity Signs, portray the crop circle makers as “terrorist” extraterrestrials putting strange marks on the land to somehow help them coordinate an invasion. (Regarding Signs, that description pretty much sums up the full extent of the explanation for crop circles given in the whole movie, as little sense as it makes in light of the details of the real-life phenomenon that "inspired" the movie.) To the Illuminati, the crop circle makers are the ultimate “terrorists,” and their crop formations are "markers to help them coordinate an invasion," and that’s how they want crop formations to be viewed by anyone else on this planet who has learned that not all of the formations can be explained by human hoaxers or nature. (Fictional movies can be quite effective in programming the subconscious minds of their more impressionable viewers to make assumptions about the real-life counterparts to the movies' subject matter. National Treasure or The Da Vinci Code, anyone?)

I fully agree with Wilco frontman Jeff Tweedy's review of Signs, which appeared in the form of a quote in Rolling Stone in November '02:

"I saw one movie that could have been the worst I've ever seen: Signs. It's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. It's just such a closed view of the world, like Night of the Living Dead crossed with a propaganda film for late Christianity. Its view of the outside world seems a lot like George W. Bush's. The aliens might as well have been wearing turbans. It was abysmal."

The crop circle makers know that the key to humans overcoming the Illuminati's mind control is through opening minds and educating. In the case of the Howell circles, they were pointing out the Illuminati's obsession with symbolism with a specific example. For starters, the Howell circles have pointed out the presence of a giant, geometrically perfect Masonic compass-and-square symbol subtly encoded in the landscape around Mike Esper's field, found by drawing straight lines connecting certain prominent landscape features around the field with the smaller 2003 circle and  the 2006 circle.

If it sounds odd that the Masons (the highest degrees being the largest and most blatant branch of the Illuminati tree) would go through the trouble of such creative landscaping just to carve their symbol into the area, consider: 1) The Illuminati's notorious tendencies to display their symbols where they think it will increase their power, and 2) The fact that the 1/2 square mile of land in question is wedged exactly between American Concrete Products’ gravel aggregates operation (visible on Page 19) and Mason Road (named after the nearby town of Mason to which it leads- a town which was named after Michigan's first governor, Stevens T. Mason, who lived in the Livingston County area.) 33 is the Masons' most important number; for 2 examples, there are 33 degrees in the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry; the large Masonic Temple in Grand Rapids, Michigan is located at 233 Fulton Street.

Most significantly, I never would have examined that stretch of land and seen the Masons’ symbol had the crop circle not drawn my attention to it. It strongly confirms my view that genuine crop formations are humanity's only mass link to beings that can match wits with the Illuminati and show us the way to true freedom, in part by specifically pointing out the Illuminati's machinations. While other forms of contact may exist between the crop circle makers and individual humans (symbolic occurrences intended for an individual’s interpretation, psychic contact), this is probably the only reliable (and believable) way for them to consistently get through to millions of people.

Part 3 - The Howell Crop Formations Decoded

Here's how I found the Masons' symbol in the landscape; refer to the following satellite photos at this point.

A few days after getting back from the Howell formation in early August '03, I logged on to Terraserver to view Mike Esper's field and the surrounding area. ( Click here if you wish to log onto Terraserver directly to the photo of the area they currently have posted to see it and interact with it first-hand. ) The satellite photo posted at the time of my discovery was taken in April 1992.

(Note- The above paragraph was edited today to reflect the following news: Today I clicked on the above link for the first time in a months, only to find that Terraserver has replaced the 1992 photo with a photo from 1998! Many of the features mentioned in the essay are still intact, but signiificantly, half of the trees forming the "S" disappeared during those 6 years between the photos. There is more on this new development later in the essay. -- Jim Prange, 2/24/05)

The first thing that caught my attention was an odd structure in the woods due North of where the crop designs appeared in Esper's field, just East of the concrete company. It appears to be the letter "M" with the bottom pointing at the concrete company and a line resting on the top of the letter to form a triangle within the letter. It is obviously manmade: 5 straight lines in a cluster, each line around 200 feet long. It is located roughly north of where the two crop circles appeared, and is due north of the Berry house. (For those of you who have read earlier versions of this essay, the last detail is one that I originally had distorted by accident, but have now corrected.)

The second thing that jumped out at me in the satellite photos of the field was a large circular pattern of discoloration (possibly indicating the buried foundation of a manmade structure) a few hundred yards southeast of where the crop circles appeared. It seemed to be a similar shape to the larger 2003 formation- a slightly elliptical, "squashed" circle.

A scan of the Terraserver satellite photo from 1992, as is

Since I have learned that many crop circles geometrically reference ground features both manmade and natural (surely an indication of intelligent design), my first instinct was to draw a straight line starting from the center of the large circular pattern of discoloration, through the centers of where I thought the crop circles had appeared and to the edge of the paper.

Next, I noticed that the bottom of the triangle in the strange "M" formation was directly "pointing at" (in reverse) the large circular pattern of discoloration! Naturally, I extended downward the lines of the two sides of the triangle to highlight that the large circular pattern of discoloration was directly in the middle of the two lines created. The left line intersected with the first line I had drawn (the one going from the large circular pattern of discoloration through what I thought was the location of the crop circles.) To instinctually complete the geometry implied by these first three lines, I then created a mirror line of the line containing the crop circles using the tip of the triangle in the "M" as the center reference point, emanating from the large circular pattern of discoloration towards the northeast to symmetrically intersect the other (right-hand) line drawn down from the "M" formation. What emerged was the ancient square-and-compass symbol of the Freemasons.

However, I did not get the geometry of the square in the square-and-compass symbol correct until the 2006 circle was reported, which drew my attention back to the measurements of the field as I set about adding the new circle to my diagram. Here is the updated diagram:

1 = The current location of the Berrys' house

(The current edge of the field is drawn into the photo between points #1 and #2)

2 = The location of the smaller 2003 formation

3 = the location of the 2006 formation

4 = the location of the larger 2003 formation

5 = highlighted feature in the field that seems to share the same size and shape of the larger 2003 formation, visible in the 1998 Terraserver photo.

The following is one of Roger Sugden's airplane photos of the 2006 formation, where Jeff Wilson highlighted some ground features that may be archaeological features, including the large circular pattern of discoloration, which are highlighted in yellow:

My hunch is that this archaeological feature is the remains of an ancient circular Indian earthwork.

The following is one of Roger Sugden's airplane photos of the 2006 formation, where Jeff Wilson drew in the locations of the 2003 circles onto the photo in black:

As I measured various satellite and airplane photos of the field to place the 2006 circle on my diagram (with help from the above diagram), I noticed an error that I had made in my original diagrams: it turns out that the west edge of the field had moved further east some time between 1992 and 1998, due to the construction of the Berry family's current house and lawn on the west end of the field at some point during that time period. I had used the west edge of the field in the 1992 Terraserver photo as a reference point, thinking it was the current edge of the field, and so I had drawn in the circles too far to the west.

However, when I corrected the measurements of the 2003 circles and added the 2006 circle to the diagram, the true geometry of the Masonic landscaping in the field was revealed. If a straight line is drawn between the smaller 2003 circle and the 2006 circle, the line runs through both the corner of the Berrys' house and the center of the circular pattern of discolored plants near Mason Road - a pattern which is very likely an archaeological feature. If an axis-line is drawn from the north point of the triangle inside the "M" symbol in the forest through the center of the circular pattern of discolored plants, it ends up creating a perfect 45 degree angle with the first line. If a mirror-line of the line created by the crop circles is drawn from the center of the circular pattern of discolored plants, with the axis-line as the center reference, the new line ends up matching with a conspicuous dark line of trees in the forest. Thus, the real Masons' symbol in the landscape not only contains a perfect 90 degree angle in the "square" part of the square-and-compass, it also contains what seems to be a visible landscaped marker in the forest, bringing the total of visible likely manmade features for the lines in the symbol up from 2 to 3, since I made the correction.

After I corrected the error involving the moving west edge of the field, it turns out that the larger of the 2003 circles was not part of the square-and-compass geometry. Instead, it seems to me it was likely meant to duplicate both the size and the shape of another conspicuous feature in the field, while creating a straight line between that feature and the Berrys' house. The newly noticed feature i speak of is a patch of sunken, wet ground in the field on the north rim of the large (possibly archaeological) circle of discolored plants near Mason Road. The 1998 Terraserver photo reveals a startling similarity between this shape and the larger 2003 formation, with only an extra dark patch of plants on the NW side of the feature preventing them from being better matches.

Here is my drawing of the larger 2003 formation, compared to a zoom-in on the feature to which I refer:

Here is part of the 1998 Terraserver photo, for the context of its location:

I suspect that this patch of wet, sunken ground may be Howell's original wellhead, while the large circular pattern may be the outline of an ancient circular Indian earthwork, or possibly the outline of an underground reservoir attached to the wellhead and also connected underground to the small lake right on the other side of Mason Road.

When I first found the Masons' symbol in the landscape in 2003, I looked for the "G" that's usually in the center of the Mason symbol, but it wasn't there. Instead, slithering through the center appears to be a dark snake formed by the darker-colored trees in the forest. The midsection of the snake forms an "S" in the center of the Mason symbol. So, why would there be a snake forming an "S" in the center of the symbol instead of a "G;"  what could it symbolize? Here's six possible interpretations, some or all of which might be what the various designers intended:

1) The “G” in the Masons' symbol actually stands for Genetics, despite what the lower degrees are told (God, Geometry?). Masons who have more royal (reptilian) DNA in their blood are the ones who climb faster and higher within that organization. The "divine right" of kings to rule based on bloodline has been a theme throughout human history. Among the reptilian-homo erectus lab experiment that are called homo sapiens, those with more of the reptilian DNA are more likely to climb higher in any Illuminati organization, as they are easier influenced, or possessed, by reptilian consciousness. Those with the highest percentages of reptilian DNA are able to shape-shift between human and reptilian form. By changing the "G" to an "S" formed by the midsection of a snake, the hidden Masonic symbol in the landscape is brought closer to its real meaning. (Note that the snake also resembles a section of DNA when coupled with the summer solstice sigil discussed later in this essay; this may or may not mean anything.)

2) The curved front part of the snake appears oddly similar to the overhead appearance of nearby Exit 133 on I-96, which is one of the strangest-shaped freeway exits I've ever used; I've never before used a freeway exit with that kind of layout, although there are probably a few others in existence. (Was that exit designed by a high-level Mason to visually reference the nearby sacred site?) Meanwhile, the snake's head is pointing directly at the concrete company.

3) Reversing or distorting a symbol, to some followers of the occult such as the upper-level Masons, symbolizes its corruption into the opposite side. For example, to "Satanists," a cross turned upside down symbolizes Satanism.

A traditional symbol for good health used by the American Medical Association is the snake winding its way up a pole. The snake on the landscape, however, is winding downwards. Does this also symbolize to the landscape designer(s) that this area is where specially chosen chemicals seep into the water supply?

The larger crop circle did contain five swirls inside the main swirl, strongly resembling draining water. Is this what the circlemakers are warning us about in this case? (Since the snake also resembles a fragment of a DNA strand, when coupled with the semi-attached summer solstice sigil (see below for more on the summer sigil-- I discovered on 7/12/04 that it the sigil also symbolizes the Serpent), could this also symbolize the kind of poisoning that can alter a person's DNA?)

4) If you follow the dark line that resembles the snake, (From the head, NW to the dark triangle in the forest, east to the eastern border of the forest, then south through the forest, ending about 70 yards into the field) the overall appearance easily evokes a snake urinating into the field, where two of Howell's major drinking water wells are located.

Now, let's stretch the imagination even further for a moment and picture a scenario (detailed later in the essay) where Howell, because of its proximity to the meeting of three major water tables and its proximity to the water-related sacred site, has long been designated by the reptilian Illuminati as the site of a long-term experiment involving drugs added into either the local drinking water supply, the rest of the area's water table (which runs off into Lake Michigan, Lake Huron and Lake Erie), or both.

If the symbolism-obsessed, reptilian Illuminati have chosen, or even planned the city of Howell (H2O-WELL) as the site of such a long-term, drug-based mind control experiment, they would be hard-pressed to find a more effective symbol to display this situation than a snake urinating into the field containing two of Howell's "backup" wells, which is also only about 1/3 mile away from the Red Cedar River.

Mind-dulling drugs intentionally added to a city's water supply would directly result in a more ignorant local population, and tiny Howell (pop. 9232) happens to be home-base to one of Michigan’s largest factions, possibly the state's largest faction, of the Ku Klux Klan. Is there a connection?

One anonymous black resident of Livingston County created a website where he sounded off his opinions on many issues; in particular, he expressed his frustration about  the history of racism and the KKK in his county, and its continuing influence on the county's residents. The long-standing presence of the KKK in Livingston County was recently brought into the national spotlight when a Howell man named Gary Gray held an auction of KKK memorabilia in Howell in January ’05. Here's an article about the event:

"KKK Robes, Books Sell at Michigan Auction" - AP, 1/29/05, posted on http://www.freerepublic.com

Due to the controversy raised by this event, he was pressured by locals to choose a different location for his second planned auction:

“Gray had booked the (second) auction in two other locations before coming back to Livingston County. The first location in Flint canceled Gray's reservation when local media started to ask questions. The second place, Horizons Conference Center in Saginaw Township, canceled Gray's reservation earlier this week.” -  from the “KKK Auction Moves to Mason” article, 4-8-05.

The final location Gray attempted to secure for the second auction, Mason, MI, was the hometown of black civil rights leader Malcolm X. The auction was canceled after a large number of KKK recruitment flyers were distributed in Mason in the week preceding the planned event, as had happened in Saginaw.

Here are links to a few articles from early April detailing the story:

“KKK Auction Moves to Mason” – The Detroit News, 4-8-05

"Auction Canceled After KKK Fliers Found" - Fox News, 4-9-05

“Gallery Tables Auction” – The Detroit News, 4-12-05

By April 15, after his planned auction in Mason was canceled, Gray decided to sell his remaining items privately:

“Auction of KKK items permanently canceled” – The Detroit Free Press, 4-15-05

Now, considering the long history of the KKK's presence in Livingston County, and considering the Masonic symbolism uncovered by the Howell crop circle, there is one important connection that must be mentioned at this point: the connection between the KKK and Freemasonry. It is a fact that the KKK was created by Albert Pike, the most powerful Mason in the world for the last quarter of the 19th century, who used Freemasonry as the model for the rituals and structure of the KKK. After creating the KKK, Pike held the office of Chief Justice of the KKK while he was simultaneously Sovereign Grand Commander of the Scottish Rite of Masonry, in the Southern Jurisdiction.

While modern day Masonic writers publicly deny an ongoing connection between their organization and the KKK, and even try to severely downplay the importance of Albert Pike to Freemasonry, many of the best conspiracy writers, including David Icke, Jim Marrs, William Cooper and William Bramley, believe the two organizations remain connected at the top of their respective hierarchies. The fact that Pike is one of only a few men to have the "honor" of being buried right in the walls of the Supreme Council of the 33rd Degree headquarters in Washington, D.C., seems to negate modern-day Masons' assertions that Albert Pike is not very significant to their organization.

Here are links to two articles exploring this issue, posted on freemasonrywatch.org:

“The Ku Klux Klan’s Masonic Origins”

“Proof That Freemasonry Is Lying About Albert Pike and the Ku Klux Klan”

K is the 11th letter of the alphabet; K = 11. So:

K + K + K = 33.

The article at the following link further details the issue of the KKK's presence in Howell: http://www.highestwire.com/sections/feature/2005/08/01/2/

According to the article, "In The '60s until the '90s Howell was considered the KKK capital north of the Mason-Dixon line."

5) If a straight line is drawn between the NEE and SWW points of the Mason symbol, the top half of the symbol becomes the Illuminati’s pyramid-with-defined-capstone symbol, with the snake/"S" in the center of the pyramid. The “all-seeing eye” usually found in this symbol appears to be staring out from the “capstone,” although the resolution of the photo isn’t fine enough to confirm that possible detail.

6) If a straight line is drawn from the top of this pyramid, through the middle of the “S”, through the large circular pattern of discoloration and beyond, you can spell the word “MASON” with the features on this line. The “M” formation and the lines drawn from it are the “M” and “A,” the snake is the “S,” the circular watershed pattern is the “O” and the "N" is traceable in the field south of Mason Road exactly on this line, using said line for the middle line of the "N."

This detail is present without any help from the crop circles. It is a detail that points to the idea that there was already Masonic symbolism encoded on that line before the crop formation appeared. In other words, this points more to the idea that the crop circles were highlighting Masonic symbolism that was already there in the landscape, including the square-and-compass, rather than towards the idea that the crop circles independently created the square-and-compass feature using the older landscaped symbols in the ground and the circular pattern of discoloration as a reference. The presence of 1 definite and 2 probable manmade markers already visible in the field supports the first scenario.

Pagan/Druid sigil for winter solstice (left); Sigil for summer solstice (right)

Since the original version of this essay was distributed in 2003, a new discovery about the possible origin of the “M” has come to light that indicates strongly that the Masonic symbolism around the field is merely their (relatively) modern-day addition to a much older ground feature- their “claim” to a site that may have been recognized as sacred by the Native Americans long before the Freemasons came to Michigan.

In February ‘04, I met with a good friend, who I will refer to as “Bill,” who is well-versed in the symbols of ancient cultures, and who I hadn’t seen since I visited the crop circle in August ’03. When I showed him the satellite photos, he spent a moment trying to remember where he had seen the “M” symbol before, said “when you think Masons, think Egyptian,” and then proceeded to pull out a book of pagan symbols and located the “M” symbol, a sigil with origins in ancient Egypt that was later adopted by the Druids, among other pagan groups, to mark the winter solstice for rituals at places they considered sacred sites.

“Bill” then said that if the “M” is indeed a Egyptian-style marking of the winter solstice at a sacred site, which it appeared to be, then the corresponding sigil used for the summer solstice should be visible nearby. He then proceeded to locate the summer solstice sigil on the Terraserver photo within seconds.

It is located in between the winter solstice “M” symbol and the location of the crop circles, on top of/attached to the “S”/snake. (See photo below.)

On July 12, 2004, a friend of mine pointed out something relevant to this mystery from The Book Of Thoth (Egyptian Tarot) by Aleister Crowley. On page 278 there is a chart of the symbols of Egyptian Tarot. From left to right, the chart gives the number and title printed on the tarot card, the Hebrew letter, the Hebrew name of the number and letter, the numerical value, the attribution symbol, the English designation for the symbol, and the key scale. Cards #XI and XII contain a special significance to the Howell mystery:

So, it turns out that the sigil used by Druids and other pagans to signify the summer solstice is ALSO the symbol for the Serpent under the symbolism of Egyptian Tarot! This new discovery greatly reduces the possibility that the "snake" in the forest is merely a natural ground feature. Now that I know that the summer solstice symbol attached to the snake also happens to symbolize the Serpent, I think the full meaning of the symbols carved into the ground is becoming even clearer than before.

Also made more plausible by this new discovery is the possibility that the criscrossing of the summer solstice symbol with the "snake" in the ground is meant to symbolize a segment of DNA-- now I know that it's not just a solstice symbol opposite the "snake," it's a SERPENT symbol opposite the "snake," meaning there's two intertwining snakes. According to Icke and many other authors, the symbol of two intertwining snakes winding up a pole used by the AMA doesn't just symbolize health, it symbolizes DNA. Now that I'm seeing TWO snakes intertwining rather than merely a snake intertwining with a solstice symbol, I'd say that the crossing of these two symbols in the forest has much more in common with the AMA symbol than I previously realized.

And then there's the symbol listed right below the Serpent symbol... look familiar? In Egyptian Tarot, the upside-down triangle by itself symbolizes WATER. This symbol, of course, comprises part of the winter solstice symbol, especially the way it's "drawn" into the forest in Howell.

The "M" symbol in the forest could be a "combo-symbol;" if that's the case, the meanings of both symbols combined to create the "M" are significant to the site, to those that created the "M." Here's a visual illustration of one possibility of the intended meaning of the "M" involving the first two symbols discussed:

+ =

Winter Solstice (Yule) + Water = The "M" symbol in the forest.

The "M" symbol also bears a close resemblance to the ancient alchemical sigil for Crocus Martis. "Crocus Martis" is an archaic alchemical term for ferric oxide (Fe2O3), a substance known today by many names: Rust, Hematite, Colcothar, Red Iron Oxide,  MIL-I-706A, Synthetic Maghemite, Rouge, "Blood Stone." Here is the listing for Crocus Martis, scanned from page 400 of The Dictionary of Occult, Hermetic and Alchemical Sigils by Fred Gettings:

To see the entire scan of Page 400 for context, click here.

In modern terminology, "Crocus Martis" is still used today by ceramic artists to describe a specific, naturally-occuring, toxic kind of ferric oxide which is purplish-red and used as a finishing glaze in ceramic art.

However, if the "M" symbol is meant to be a "Crocus Martis" sigil, I think it would be the archaic meaning of the term - ferric oxide - not the modern meaning which describes a specific toxic form of ferric oxide, as I think that the "M" has probably been there since the 19th century. Interestingly, ferric oxide is sometimes used in concrete as a strengthener; the American Concrete Products operation next-door to Esper's field has an aggregates division, where concrete is broken down into gravel, and some of the waste products, according to some nearby neighbors of the business, are dumped into the adjacent lake. (More on this later.)

The "M" symbol in the forest could be meant to reference all of the above, a combination of two of these symbols, just one of them, or none of the above.

If the "M" is meant to refer to all three meanings simultaneously, in a symbolic Illuminati display of "killing three birds with one stone," here's one possible speculation on its meaning: perhaps the "M" site is (or was) used annually for Luciferian sun-worship rituals on the Winter Solstice by high-ranking Freemasons connected with the site, whose highest-ranking leader(s) would also be aware that the site is not only ground-zero for their water-doping (chronic iron overload?) operation (being located between the Red Cedar River, the small lake next to American Concrete Products, and the field above Howell's "backup" wells) but also located in the general area of land where three water drainage systems meet- an area which stretches roughly from Howell to Hartland. It would not surprise me if the general area of the "M" and Esper's field also marks the location of an intersection of ley lines, as is so often the case with the locations of crop circles; if that is the case, it may explain why Howell's well and the concrete company next door were built on this precise spot.

Over 90% of the world’s crop circles appear within 40 miles of Stonehenge—the same small area of England that also contains, by far, the largest concentration of circular prehistoric monuments in the British Isles. In general, crop circles are known to often appear nearby monuments marking sites considered sacred sites by ancient cultures—sites that in modern times have often been found to be located at major intersections of the recognized ley lines that crisscross the Earth.

(For more on ley lines, check out the website of Peter Champoux, author of "The Gaia Matrix." I think that this man is on the cutting-edge of ley line research; his numerous maps of ley lines, many of which can be downloaded for free (as pdf files) from his website, may be the most accurate and detailed yet made available to the public. Also, on his website, Champoux makes numerous references to his conclusion that the locations of many American cities and roads have been planned by high-ranking Freemasons integrating their knowledge of the locations of ley lines into the planning- a subject to which an entire chapter of his book is dedicated. The main link to his website is: http://www.geometryofplace.com )

If this site is indeed located at an intersection of ley lines, then that would give the Howell formation another major characteristic of many genuine crop circles, in addition to the things that have already been documented in the field report, such as the classic plant anomalies and close proximity to a power line and an underground water table.

Recently, I contacted the current property owners of the forest containing the "M." I filled them in on the basics of what was found, and pointed them to the web address of Terraserver so that they could see what was on their property. They were astonished at what they saw; until that moment, they had no idea it was there. However, they did recall that a now-deceased member of the family who had previously owned the property, the Berrys, had informed them that there were "sacred grounds" somewhere on their property! Until their sale to the current owners, members of the Berry family had owned the property since at least as far back as 1915, as can be seen on this 1915 property map:

http://www.livgenmi.com/1915MIatlashowell.htm

Members of the Berry family continue to reside in the house near the road right next to the west edge of the field leased by Mike Esper, meaning the crop circles appeared only about 135 feet from their house. The two circles were pointing at their back yard, along the straight line that forms the Mason symbol. However, the formation was not reported until Mike Esper noticed the formation while harvesting the field, after which he immediately reported it. When interviewed by the research team, the Berrys said they did not know the formation was there until the local media visited their house.

The following is the basic account of the formation's discovery that the Wilson/Sugden/ Lietzau/Lemire team were able to gather, from their field report:

Mike Esper, the farmer, on the afternoon of July 24, was harvesting his field at the corner of Mason and Burkhardt roads when he noticed a small, approximately 10’ diameter circle of flattened wheat near the Western edge of his wheat field. He didn’t think very much of it, other than considering it might have been made by some kids, and drove his combine right over the top of it. Soon after, about 100 feet to the East, Mr. Esper spotted a much larger, flattened circle of wheat, and steered his harvester around the circle leaving approximately 10-15 feet of standing wheat bordering the flattened wheat.

Mr. Esper was insistent that there were no tracks into either of the circles, and there was no other flattened wheat in the field. Mr. Esper had contracted a third party to spray parts of his field for weeds two times in the previous three weeks, and contacted the sprayer to see if he had noticed the circles. Although the area where the circles were located had not been sprayed, the sprayer said that he hadn’t seen the circles the first time he sprayed, but when he had sprayed the field two weeks later, he had noticed them, but didn’t bother to mention it to Mr. Esper at the time. Therefore, we can only narrow down the time of formation to this two-week window of time from about July 10-24.

In the GlobeXplorer photo, which was taken in 2000, part of the dark trees that formed the snake in the 1992 Terraserver photo appear to have been surgically cut out of the woods, leaving a “C” shaped scar where the top of the “S” used to be. (To interact with GlobeXplorer's photo, 1) click here to log on, 2) search for "4950 Mason Road, Howell, MI", 3) zoom out twice, then 4) click "East" once and you'll recognize the area.) And, the large circular pattern of different-colored plants is more uneven. (Is this due to nature, less optimal conditions for the GlobeXplorer photo, or the Illuminati responding to the increase in satellite photo availability between 1992 and 2000 by altering the landscape again, making their symbols at the site less blatant to the casual internet observer? I’m not sure.) The “M” is still visible in the GlobeXplorer photos, but appears light-colored in contrast to the surrounding landscape; this is because it is comprised of strategically-planted hedges defining the course of deep pathways in the ground that were filled with water only for the 1992 Terraserver photo.

Had anyone in the know about the Illuminati actually stumbled on the hidden symbols in the 1992 Terraserver photo before the crop circles appeared, it would have been a disturbing sight seen by few people—a display of power with too many possible interpretations and no obvious rays of hope, which is part of why the Illuminati do these things. Now that the crop circles appeared and this document is circulating, it would be interesting to see if Terraserver, after having the same photos of Howell for over a decade, updates or changes its Howell photos in 2004.* I would encourage readers of this essay to do further internet research to find more satellite photos of the area from different years, in case they are all changed (or even doctored) soon.

* (Note: as of today, I know that Terraserver has done exactly that! However, I will leave the above paragraph intact as it was before today's discovery. Today I clicked on the link I provided to the Terraserver photos, for the first time in a months, only to find that Terraserver has replaced the 1992 photo with a photo from 1998! Many of the ground features mentioned in this essay are still intact, but siginificantly, half of the trees forming the "S" disappeared some time during those 6 years. Also significant is the fact that readers of my essay can no longer log onto the original source material to verify that the original photo used in the essay is not doctored. The photo they just posted was taken 7 years ago; I wonder what could've compelled Terraserver to put up that photo just now?  -- Jim Prange, 2/24/05)

I first visited the "M" in the woods with Jeff Wilson, one of the researchers whose findings I used for much of the factual basis for this essay, and the current director of the ICCRA (Independent Crop Circle Researchers Association.) After he read my essay using the link I provided on the messageboard of the website with which he is involved, ( http://www.cropcirclenews.com ) he contacted me, interested in visiting the site of the "M" with me and examining it in person, which prompted me to make my initial contact with the property owners to seek permission to visit the woods on their property. The property owners were kind enough to accompany us on our journey into the woods, and even lent us their extra wading boots, which proved essential as the woods were very swampy. With my satellite photos of the "M" in hand and their familiarity with the woods, we managed to locate the "M" together. The "M," it turned out, is a strange swampy clearing in the woods, where there are virtually only two types of plants-- 25-foot hedges and 7-foot weeds that I did not find in such abundance anywhere else in the forest. The "M" consists of deep grooves in the ground in between the hedges; the grooves were filled with the 7-foot tall weeds at the time we visited.

While the property owners were kind enough allow us, as researchers working on the case, to examine the site in person, they understandably do not welcome trespassers and thus do not want any sort of mass publicity regarding this finding; so, out of respect for that wish, I am not submitting this essay to mainstream, printed publications; I am keeping this essay's distribution limited to a fairly underground, internet-based availability, where just enough of the right people will see it-- serious crop circle researchers, and others who would want to pass along the link to raise awareness of the various issues highlighted in the essay. (More likely than not, no mainstream media, if the mainstream media is controlled by the Illuminati to the extent I think it is, would even consider publishing this essay, or anything about it, anyway.) I would not recommend going against the property owners' wishes regarding trespassing; the whole forest area is a swampy drainage field, difficult to navigate and spotted with random patches of Michigan quicksand; also, any intruders entering the forest from any side would be extremely visible, as all edges of the forest area are surrounded by large stretches of flat, open fields. On top of that, the consequences of being caught by the Howell police for trespassing there may be worse than the consequences of trespassing anywhere else in Howell; if the officers that would arrest a trespasser to those woods are Masons, a trespasser arrested for snooping there might find themselves in MUCH more trouble than a trespassing charge. (For those who are curious to see what it looks like in person, at some point soon I will post some video footage and photos of our expedition on this page.)

For now, here are some new aerial photos of the "M," taken in 2006 by Roger Sugden:

In the Wilson/Lemire/Lietzau/Sugden field report, several anomalies to the phenomenon itself were reported, suggesting that the circlemakers want us to pay special attention to the Howell formation. While the standard “expulsion cavities” were found in the node collars of the wheat inside the circle, there were also a new, more extreme type of expulsion cavity found in other wheat samples from the circle which the researchers describe as an “expulsion fissure,” a slightly burnt crack around the circumference of the node.

According to the report, the “swirls within the swirl” are also a rarity:

“In an extensive search of the crop circle literature, we believe this is the first time that multiple circles in a formation have appeared, and then a larger circle has been flattened right over the top of the original circles.”

One of the "swirls within the swirl" at the Howell formation.

The team also reported a GPS anomaly which might provide some insight to the message:

“The crop circle formation is located at approximately 42?36.04m N latitude, and 84?00.04m W longitude. However, we were unable to conclusively obtain an approximate feet-above-sea-level measurement from within the formation. Our attempt resulted in a measurement inside the large circle +858ft above sea level, and a reading of +854 ft above sea level for the smaller circle. The two circles were exactly 135 feet apart. Between the two circles, we took a GPS reading every 20 feet and received elevations of +943-+955 feet above sea level. The area does not change in elevation more than 15 feet across the distance between the circles, so we have an anomaly of the circles appearing to be approximately 100 feet in elevation below the rest of the field.”

If the circlemakers intentionally left some sort of residue so that GPS equipment would malfunction that way inside the formation, here’s one possible message intended: Something is happening 100 feet below the field.

The two circles were exactly 135 feet apart. As someone pointed out to me on a messageboard in July '04, 33 yards + 33 feet + 33 inches + 3 inches = 135 feet... exactly. "33" occurs again in the measurements of the formation: in the larger circle, the north and south "swirls" were each 3 feet in diameter and 3 feet from the perimeter of the circle. Since "33" is the Masons' trademark number, these details point strongly toward the idea that the appearance of the crop circles was intended to draw our attention to the Masons.

Here is one more quote from the report:

“Arriving at the field, we noticed a special blue road sign reading ‘Wellhead Protection Area.’ Inquiring as to what this designation meant, it turns out that the field marks the beginning of a boundary of where a specially protected area has been defined to protect the local watershed from certain polluting industries, and where the city of Howell draws its water supply. The field where the crop circle formation appeared has two large wells – one of which helps supply the city with water. Also located about 100’ East of Circle #1 is a drain field that empties into a swamp at the North border of the field. The field itself sits on top of a large aquifer and a layer of sandstone that is being mined by a cement company less than a mile to the west of the field. Between the cement company and the Western border of the field is a branch of the Red Cedar River. Crop circles have been noted to appear near some sort of body of water: a creek, a pond, a drainage ditch, etc, and with this formation, water appears to be in plentiful supply all around – and below – this formation.”

The formation has the same shape as the nearby almost-circular pattern of discolored plants it references; the "hourglass shading" and "swirls within the main swirl" with holes in their centers could be interpreted as picturing draining water.

Part 4 - H2Owell

Since the time the original version of this essay was written in 8/03, I discovered (at the beginning of May ’04) some additional facts that have brought back to the forefront my initial suspicions that the Howell formation was not only pointing out the Masonic symbolism carved into the landscape, but also pointing out a poisoning of the local water supply by the nearby American Concrete Products. In the process of updating the essay to include the identification of the “M” symbol and discovery of the accompanying summer-solstice symbol, I did some more research that uncovered some facts that may or may not prove relevant to this case:

American Concrete Products' aggregates division, located a stone’s throw from where the crop formation appeared (as visible in the GlobeXplorer photo), is owned by a man named Brad Jonckheere. D&J Gravel first began operations at the site in 1950, under the ownership of David Jonckheere. In March of 2001, American Concrete Products, a company founded in 1999 by Brad Jonckheere, acquired the site. (See ACP’s “about us” page by clicking here.)

The Livingston County Drain Commissioner, it turns out, is a man named Brian Jonckheere. Here is his own description of his duties, as taken from his website. (Link to Brian Jonckheere's website here.)

“The role of a Drain Commissioner can best be described as a water resource manager. Areas that concern the Drain Commissioner are storm water drainage, lake management, hazardous waste disposal, Wastewater treatment, and other duties. The Drain Commissioner deals almost exclusively with issues that directly or indirectly affect water quality.

The role of Drain Commissioner is an intensive balancing act.  The Commissioner must balance the need to protect individual property and human health with environmental protection.”

Livingston County’s Executive Administrative Secretary, it turns out, is a woman named Carol Sue Jonckheere. As listed on Livingston County’s webpage listing the county’s administration ( click here for the link to that page ), she is in charge of the following:

- Manages the functions of the County Administration Office

- Assists the County Administrator

- Supervises, coordinates and finalizes County contracts and agreements upon Board authorization

- Maintains county contract database

- Schedules appointments and meetings

- Prepares agendas and takes minutes at various meetings

- Researches and compiles data for special projects

- Maintains files on all county projects and buildings

- Records issues and tentative agreements during bargaining sessions with Unions

- Coordinates construction project records and files

So Carol Sue is in charge of keeping the county’s files… if there was any major construction around the city’s drinking water wells in the field in question, she would have the file on it. Perhaps she could tell us who paid for the removal of the trees that formed the snake, which occurred some time in between the 1992 Terraserver photo and the 1998 Terraserver photo currently featured on Terraserver. Since the field where the formation appeared is owned by the city (Mike Esper leases the field from the city) it is also likely that she has the files on any landscaping or construction that has occurred around the field.

Could it be that this is a crucial conflict of interest that the crop formation has helped to point out? While this is not evidence that certain members of the Jonckheere family are knowingly poisoning Howell’s water supply, it is evidence that if Brad, Brian and/or Carol Sue had a “family plan” to intentionally poison Howell’s water table nearby the ACP operation, they could easily do it, as they hold three key positions that would be preferred to be held by “insiders” if such a conspiracy to poison the water near where the crop formation appeared exists. (For readers familiar with the way Illuminati bloodlines operate, this is far from an unheard-of concept.)

It is the uncanny timing of an article that appeared in the Detroit News on July 30, 2003, which points the strongest towards such a conspiracy existing in the area. Before I relate the contents of that article, here is the first paragraph of the Wilson/Lemire/Lietzau/Sugden field report to consider:

“On July 29-31, 2003, a private scientific research team documented physical evidence revealing that the Howell Township, Livingston County, Michigan crop circle formation was not made by hoaxers. The team consisted of Jeffrey Wilson, Todd Lemire, and Dr. Charles Lietzau of Michigan, and Roger Sugden of Indiana. Arriving at the field on July 29, 2003, we discovered and photographed the presence of several anomalies that cannot be duplicated by hoaxers.”

The July 30 Detroit News article, a lengthy piece with a simple headline of “Coalition Protects Water,” details the various plans that Brian Jonckheere has to protect the water in Livingston County, complete with two photos of Brian personally inspecting the water. To view the article, taken off the Detroit News website, click here.

So, six days after the discovery of the circles-- and the very day after the arrival of a team of serious researchers who end up determining that the Howell formation is not a manmade hoax-- the Detroit News chooses to print an article reassuring the public that Brian Jonckheere is protecting the area’s water supply?

If the Howell formation’s message has nothing to do with a conspiracy to poison the water in Livingston County, then this is just a remarkable coincidence, especially considering that this is the only news article easily available on the internet about Brian Jonckheere.

But if the formation was indeed placed where it was not just to point out the Masonic symbolism in the landscape, but to also point out that someone is poisoning Livingston County’s water, then the timing of the Detroit News article would fit right into that scenario, provided that the media-control element of the general theory of the Illuminati explored by Icke, Marrs, Bramley, Cooper and others is largely correct.

Under that “theory,” the Detroit News, like all major newspapers, is controlled by the Illuminati, who would be well aware of every genuine crop circle’s appearance and intended message. Putting out an article reassuring the public that the water in the area is protected would be a typical, expected Illuminati response to the appearance of a crop formation whose message is that the water is being poisoned; the timing of the article would illustrate that they rushed out this article as a direct response to the formation’s appearance. (The old saying that “the best way to hide something is to put it right in plain view” illustrates a constant characteristic of the Illuminati bloodlines’ psychological manipulation of the masses since civilization began.)

In addition to providing a major clue with its timing, the Detroit News article also revealed to me a fact that indicates that if the water table is being poisoned in Livingston County, it is actually affecting a much larger area:

“A coalition of 12 municipalities along with the county's drain commission and road commission are formulating a plan to protect the county's water resources, which include 53 major lakes of 60 acres or more and dozens of streams that connect to four watersheds: the Looking Glass and Red Cedar in the west and the Huron and Shiawassee in the east.

‘Activities in our county have a direct impact on three of the Great Lakes -- Erie, Huron and Michigan,’ said Livingston County Drain Commissioner Brian Jonckheere.

This means that Brian Jonckheere is not just responsible for protecting Livingston County’s water—he is also responsible for ensuring that no poisons are leaking into three of the Great Lakes from his county, which is the county where the water tables from those three Great Lakes meet.

It occurred to me that if Brad Jonckheere was poisoning the water and it was actually exposed despite Brian and Carol Sue’s key government positions, then the nature of the operation would provide the perfect cover story to explain contaminants leaking out of the site. A wide variety of rocks are broken down into gravel there; any health-reducing or mind-dulling chemicals found leaking into the water supply would likely be plausibly explained as accidental runoff from the wide variety of minerals broken down into gravel there. No one would ever consider it was intentional— or rather, it is unlikely anyone would consider that it was an intentional contamination if they haven’t read this essay.

(Recently I talked with a few residents of the immediate area (who will of course go unnamed for their protection) who confirmed that American Concrete Products openly, and regularly, dumps its waste right into the adjacent lake! Is Brad Jonckheere acting on that old adage, that the best way to hide something is to put it right under people's noses? It is apparently common knowledge to the neighbors of the ACP operation that this is how the company disposes of some of their waste. Perhaps it is assumed by these locals that this is not a questionable activity, since after all, The Drain Commission would never let the ACP operation do that if it was bad for the water supply, right?)

However, it is of utmost importance that no witch-hunt of the Jonkheeres mentioned in this essay occurs—I am not accusing, I am only speculating. Perhaps the three Jonckheeres have actually been placed into their key positions by positive forces of fate they don’t understand, for the purpose of uncovering a long-standing water-drugging operation in their county which the three of them could work together in exposing, in a way that’s only possible with a combination of their family bond and the key positions all three of them hold in the county. If there are three file cabinets whose contents would be among the most valuable in discovering background information that might reveal signs of a potential leak of chemicals from the American Concrete Products’ waterside site into the Howell water supply, it would be the files of the owner of American Concrete Products, the Livingston County Drain Commissioner, and the county’s Executive Administrative Secretary; maybe the fact that all three of those people have turned out to be from the same family is a blessing, a happy coincidence of a family bond that will ensure no red-tape snags or smokescreen interferences in the three people combining forces to effectively figure out if the water is being poisoned, whether it’s being poisoned intentionally or not.

Whether the Jonckheeres are the villains or the potential heroes in this story, one thing is clear— Brad, Brian, Carol Sue and David Jonckheere have some questions to answer. I encourage the more courageous readers of this essay living in Michigan to ask Brian and Carol Sue some questions and to make note of both their answers and their emotional reactions. Those two are public servants and are required to give an answer to most questions related to their duties and knowledge; as long as the person(s) asking the questions maintains a non-confrontational, non-accusatory and “non-crop circle-related” line of questioning, then we may get somewhere with the necessary next step in solving this mystery. Also, it may be a crucial factor to find out first whether any of the four Jonckheeres mentioned in this essay are Freemasons or members of similar orders, and if so, what ranking they hold; if any of them are, keep in mind that they would likely not admit it unless it’s already known; interviewing several of their acquaintances might be the only way to find that out that particular question. I’m not going to do it myself; with this essay I feel I’ve done my part, and I hope that the right people are inspired by this essay to do the necessary further research.

If at least one of the Jonckheeres mentioned in this essay turns out to be a Freemason (or a member of any other bloodline-related secret society), then any answer given by them in response to questions regarding this issue must be taken with a grain of salt.

It is likely the location for the gravel operation was chosen partially because of the potential for multi-layered symbolism in it, despite what the cover story may be. (“Directions: On Mason Road, just off of exit 133…”) I was not able to find out if the first appearance of the industrial operation at 4950 Mason Road was in 1950 when David Jonckheere set up D&J Gravel there; but if it was, then that would point strongly towards David Jonckheere being a high-level Freemason, considering the heavy Masonic symbolism surrounding the site, as exposed by the crop formation.

I think that the Howell formation' message to the masses is multilayered, with the most “concrete” part of the message being that there are manmade symbols landscaped into the forest and field, indicating a previously unknown (except to a few) archaeological site. More on the speculative end of things is the possibility that Howell's water supply is being poisoned at the site by the same forces who originally designed the landscaped symbols, and that this was another part of the Howell formations' message. (I have not yet personally gathered water samples from the area; even if I did, and managed to find contaminants with the help of a chemist, I'm not sure how such evidence could be proven as fact to readers, unlike the other elements of this essay.) However, I have uncovered enough coincidences on the matter so far where I feel it is worth including in this writing.

Part 5 - Clues From Howell's History

The bizarre presence of the manmade occult symbols pointed out by the crop formation naturally raises the questions: "who," "when" and "why."

My theory is that the Illuminati had a plan for a city named Howell (H20-WELL, a town where the well would be doped) before the location was ever chosen. I think they likely chose the general Livingston county area for the town for symbolic and maybe practical reasons, as it is the area where three drainage systems (rivers draining to Lake Michigans, lake Huron & Lake Erie) meet. (After a coalition of Chippewa, Pottawotamie and Ottawa Indians wiped out the Hopewell Indians who previously occupied the area, the three tribes defined their territories based on the borders of these three drainage systems. This is a clue that the area was likely considered sacred to the local Native Americans.) I think they chose the specific location of the well possibly based on the largest intersection of ley lines they could find near a river in the general area where the three drainage systems meet, and then chose of the location of the town based on a practical riverside location that would be near the well. Subsequently, the location of the town of Mason would have been chosen so that the symbolism would occur of the East-West road from Mason to Howell - Mason Road - running right past the well site. Grand River Road was built right on top of a major Native American trail that also runs very near the site; I think it's no coincidence that I-96, which runs closely parallel to Grand River Road and replaced that road as the major Howell-Lansing highway, would later be planned so that Exit 133 would occur where it is, symbolically placing the "M" site right between "Mason Road" and "133."

In late 2006, I uncovered many historical facts about the area that strongly support my theory that the locations of the city of Howell, the city of Mason, Mason Road, and Grand River Road were all planned out by the Illuminati to intentionally reference the "Mason Road site" and to create the multiple layers of Masonic references around this site, as detailed in this essay. My journey through history also revealed a background story in which the theory that the town of Howell was actually named in reference to the well becomes entirely plausible. (This theory was first suggested to me by  a poster on the messageboard at http://www.cropcirclenews.com on 5/27/04.)

The most bountiful source of information in my search of the history of the area turned out to be the website of The Livingston County Michigan Historical Geneological Project. (Keep this fact in mind as you read what I’ve uncovered, as later I will detail the story of the bizarre problems the webmaster of this site, Pam Rietsch, has been experiencing since about 2002, shortly before the crop formation appeared.)

SECTION 27

Orman Coe, Genesee Co., N.Y., May 20, 1833. East half of southwest quarter.

Here are the first paragraphs of the segment from this page titled “FIRST SETTLEMENT AND EARLY SETTLERS,” on the early settlement of Howell village:

The first actual settlements within what is now the village of Howell were made by George T. Sage, John D. Pinckney, James Sage, and David Austin, in the year 1834.

John D. Pinckney was a native of Dutchess Co., N.Y., and remained a resident of that county until the year 1833, being then located with a wife and two children, at the village of Hughsonville, engaged in the business of his trade, which was that of butcher. Having determined to emigrate to the West, he started in the year named, and came by the Erie Canal and Lake Erie to Detroit, and thence to Salem, Washtenaw Co., where his father and brothers were then living. At that place he also found George T. Sage, who was, like himself, desirous of purchasing eligible government lands on which to establish a farm and a home. With that object in view, these two men, accompanied by Mr. Pinckney's brothers, struck but towards the northwest, over the Indian trail, into the wilderness of Livingston, which had then recently been erected a county, though not yet organized as such.

Whether they were in any degree influenced in their explorations by the prospect of future advantages to arise from the probable location of the county-seat is not known, but it is certain that about the end of the second day's journey they found themselves at the geographical centre of the county, as shown by the surveyors' marks and numbers, and were soon engaged in prospecting among the inviting oak-openings which stretched away from the shores of the little lake, over and beyond the present site of Howell village. On or near the spot now occupied by the residence of Hon. Mylo L. Gay, in the western part of the village, they hastily built a rude, temporary shelter --a bark-roofed cabin in which they slept, and made their headquarters for about a week, while engaged in exploring the neighboring region and choosing the lands for location. It was almost wholly a matter of choice with them, for all the lands in the vicinity were open for entry (except the two eighty-acre tracts which had previously, in the same year, been entered by C. C. Trowbridge and John J. Eaman, on sections 35 and 36, respectively), and nowhere in all the region was there any sign of clearing or settler, nor any traces of the work of human hands, except the blazings and marks left by the government surveyors.

Having made and noted their selections of lands the party returned to Salem, and thence Pinckney and Sage proceeded without delay to the land-office in Detroit, where they entered and purchased the tracts, as above noticed, on sections 35 and 36. Mr. Pinckney, then went to his home in the East (where he arrived after an absence of nearly two months), and Mr. Sage returned to Salem; and both began their preparations for removal and settlement on their new lands in Livingston County.

Three interesting things stand out to me in this narrative.

The first thing is the fact that the earliest land purchase in the Howell village area was by C.C. Trowbridge, the man who would later be president of the Plank Road Company. (That ties in to an issue explored in detail later in this essay, during the discussion of E.B. Danforth's association in the planning of the Plank Road with both C.C. Trowbridge and the man who was the "Worshipful Master" of the Howell Mason Lodge (#38) for the years 1856, 1857 and 1858, Frederick C. Whipple.)

The list of Howell’s early Masonic leaders from the 1880 book by Franklin Ellis can be found at this link, about 3/5 down the page: http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1880/Howell/d.htm

The second thing that stands out to me is the fact that Mylo L. Gay, a man who was Worshipful Master of the Howell Mason Lodge (#38) for the years 1864 and 1865, as well as the Eminent Commander of the local Knights Templar lodge (#28) in 1879, was, by 1879, living on the precise location of the original one-week campsite of Howell's first settlers, John D. Pinckney and George T. Sage. Perhaps he got a kick out of the symbolism of living there.

The third thing that stands out to me in that excerpt is something that also points towards Masonic symbolism. Of the first five men to make land entries in the Howell area, the two men that actually settled on the future site of the village, John D. Pinckney and George T. Sage, made their purchase of the site together on the date of December 3, 1833.

Standard shorthand of this date would be 12-3-33. The Masonic signature of this date is revealed when the basic digit summing process used in numerology is applied, as this process has been shown to be frequently used in Masonic symbolism. Digit summing in numerology reduces all numbers to a single digit, with exceptions such as 2-digit multiples of 11. (11, 22, 33, etc.) Under this process, 12 is reduced to a 3; 1+2=3. 3 is left alone as it already is a single digit; 33 is also left alone as it is a 2-digit multiple of 11.

So, what you get after digit summing the individual elements of the date of the original purchase of the site of Howell is:

3-3-33

Interestingly, if you use digit summing on all the numbers of this date to arrive at one number, you get a 3, whether you’re using 12-3-1833, 12-3-33, or 3-3-33.

The next bit of Howell history is one that tells the story of how the town was named. My theory on the matter (again) is that the town, unbeknownst to its residents, was named Howell because the town's well, as described previously, was the very reason the town was founded: H20-WELL. I find the known story of its naming quite compatible with this theory, especially when compared to other American towns. The following excerpts are from the same page linked above.

On the 2nd of July, 1835, the west half of the southwest quarter and the southwest quarter of the northwest quarter of section 36, in township 3 north, of range 4 east (Howell), were sold and conveyed by Alexander Fraser (the lands having been entered by John D. Pinckney for Fraser, to whom the duplicates were assigned) to David Wetmore and Edward Brooks, of Detroit. On the 17th of September, in the same year, Edward Brooks and wife and David Wetmore (the latter by Charles G. Hammond, his attorney) sold and conveyed one undivided third of both the above tracts to Flavius J. B. Crane, of Detroit; and on the 29th of October following, David Wetmore, by his attorney, Hammond, conveyed his remaining interest to Edward Brooks.

By these transfers, Crane and Brooks became joint proprietors --the former having a one-third, and the latter a two-thirds, interest in the above described tracts, upon which they proceeded to survey and lay out a village plat, --the original plat of the village of Howell,--and to file the same in the office of the Register of Oakland County.

The prospective village thus laid out by Crane and Brooks was named by them HOWELL, in honor of Thomas Howell, a friend of Mr. Crane, and a son of Judge Howell, of Canandaigua, N. Y. The name, however, did not immediately come into general use, and the place continued to be known as Livingston Centre for a considerable time afterwards.

So, in short, after Flavius J.B. Crane and Edward Brooks purchased the main village site, Brooks named it “Howell” in honor of Crane’s friend from New York, Thomas Howell, a man who had absolutely nothing to do with the village other than being a friend of Crane’s. No wonder it took years for the name “Howell” to catch on with the area’s residents.

Crane and Brooks were the men who surveyed and laid out the original village plat, meaning they are the original architects of Howell’s basic street design. While that alone does not prove that they were Freemasons, road planning and design is one of the Freemasons’ specialties, a fact that they do not hide. (Consider the bounty of Masonic symbols found in the street layout of Washington, D.C.)

The next bit of history details two of the three bizarrely reoccurring variations on the phrase “Gardener Mason” that I found in the names of three key people in the early history of Howell. The two excerpted paragraphs are from The History of Howell, Michigan by Elisha H. Smith, published in 1868. The direct link to this page is: http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1868/settlement.htm

About 1840, Gardner Mason planted a nursery on section 35. Subsequently he removed it to the western part of the township. Mr. Mason died July 30th, 1853. A few years later, Dr. Gardner Wheeler established a nursery on section 35.

Gardner Wheeler, M. D., settled in the township in 1838. He was the first resident physician of the place, and a man of intellectual ability, and skill in his profession. He died January 11th, 1859, and was interred according to the rites and ceremonies of the Masonic Fraternity, of which he had long been a member.

Once again, the list of Howell’s early Masonic leaders from the 1880 book by Franklin Ellis can be found at this link, about 3/5 down the page: http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1880/Howell/d.htm

The following is a list of the Worshipful Masters of Howell Lodge #38, from the commencement of its working until 1879, taken from the list mentioned above:

1849 - Amos Adams

1850-53 - Gardner Wheeler

1854-55 -Henry H. Harmon

1856-58 -Frederick C. Whipple

1859-60 -Sardis F. Hubbell

1861 - Frank Wells

1862-63 - Sardis F. Hubbell

1864-65 - Mylo L. Gay

1866-68 - Joseph T. Titus

1869 - William C. Rumsey

1870 - Joseph. T. Titus

1871-72 - Albert Riddle

1873-74 - Sardis F. Hubbell

1875-76 - Albert L. Hathaway

1877-79 - Sardis F. Hubbell

So, a nursery was planted in Howell by a man named Gardner Mason in 1840 and maintained until his death in 1853, and after his death, a new nursery was planted by Dr. Gardner Wheeler, the leader (“Worshipful Master”) of Howell’s Masonic lodge for the years 1850 through1853. In other words, Gardner Mason’s "garden" was replaced as the local nursery by Gardner the Mason's "garden." That pair of “Gardener Masons” alone was enough to catch my interest, since my theory on the “M” in the woods is that it was created by “Gardener Masons.” The third symbolic “Gardener Mason” to appear in the story is the one whose appearance drives home my feeling that the first two were not a coincidence.

A man named “Gardner Munson” is one of 6 Munsons buried in tiny Lake Cemetery (also known as Lakeside Cemetery) in Marion Township. Also buried there is his relative Ferdinand W. Munson. The listing of those buried at Lake Cemetery can be found at this link: http://www.livgenmi.com/lakecem.htm

On August 12, 1835, Professor Rial Lake purchased several tracts of land in the Howell area. One of the tracts he purchased had an eastern border of the road now known as Burkhardt Road; the southern border was the road now known as Mason Road; the western border was near the Red Cedar River, and the northern border was basically the present-day northern border of the woods containing the “M.” In other words, everything pointed out by the crop circle- the “M” in the woods, the concrete company, the large circular pattern of discoloration, and the multi-layered landscaped Masonic symbolism that emerged by connecting all of the above- lies entirely within that tract of land. On that date, Rial also purchased the nearby site of his family cemetery (Lake/Lakeside cemetery) where Gardner Munson, who died at age 65 in 1853, was buried. (This obviously indicates that the Munson family was already very close to the Lake family by 1853, as the cemetery was still a private family cemetery at the time.)

Rial Lake died on December 29, 1851. On September 6, 1858, his daughter, Frances R. Lake, married Professor Ferdinand W. Munson. (Sounds a little like “Freemason", doesn’t it?) In 1860, the couple settled on the precise piece of land discussed in this essay, detailed in the above paragraph.

The 1835 original purchase of the property by Rial Lake is documented in the 1880 Everts & Abbott book; the section of the book containing this and the records of all of the other original land purchases in Howell can be found at this link:

http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1880/Howell%20Twp/

A little more about Rial Lake is found in the same book's biography of his daughter-in-law, Helen M. Lake:

http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/LivIngPB/bios597-607.htm#602

I learned about Munson's occupation of the site by looking at a property map of Howell Township from 1875, once again preserved by the Livingston County Michigan Historical Genealogical Project’s online MARDOS Memorial Library. The map can be viewed at the following link: http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1875/Howell/index.htm

Note the “233” that appears precisely below Munson’s property on the map.

The “M” in the woods (a.k.a. the Winter Solstice Sigil) is made entirely of strategically planted hedges, and makes perfect geometrical reference to two other structures that were revealed by the crop formation, namely the  Summer Solstice Sigil (also made of plants) and the long-standing large dark circular pattern. Two skills would be required by a man to succeed in the creation - or even just the maintenance - of such a project: engineering (specifically the kind of engineering that involves using advanced geometry to plan structures over large stretches of land) and horticulture.

The following passage is from a biography of F.W. Munson published by the Chapman Bros. Of Chicago in 1891, directly linked here: http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/LivIngPB/bios687-697.htm#692

[F.W. Munson] has a family of two children--Melvin H. is a graduate of the Howell School and at present Division Engineer and Chief of Construction in Mexico, of the Mexican Southern Railroad; Welton M. is a Professor of Horticulture in the Maine State College. He graduated at the Michigan Agricultural College in 1888, at twenty-five years of age.

If F.W. Munson was the man who engineered and planted the “M,” or even just the man who inherited (from Rial Lake) the job of maintaining and protecting it, he would have most likely had his sons assist him in the task of maintaining and protecting the “M” when they reached an age where they could be of help in these duties. The fact that one of his sons became the Divison Engineer and Chief of Construction of the Mexican Southern Railroad, while the other son became a Professor of Horticulture, fits very well into such a scenario.

(Were they inspired or influenced into their choice of careers by their childhood experiences? Did their father, who was a professor, teach them extensively about engineering and horticulture during the time they were living with him, so that they could help him properly maintain the “M”?)

I suspect that Professor Ferdinand W. Munson was the man who was in charge of either the physical engineering and/or subsequent protection of all of the landscaped features that form the large symbols on his piece of land: the “M” , whatever structure is still darkening the field in the large circular pattern, and the dark line of trees that forms the right half of the "square" in the square-and-compass symbol. (Note: it is possible that the manmade symbols on this piece of land have not been maintained since the age of airplanes or the age of satellite photos, meaning the original symbols on the land may have been more clear and elaborate, and meaning what we now see in satellite photos is merely the faded remains of what was once there. So, Munson may have had more landscaping features to tend than the features that are currently visible.) However, I don’t think he was the "mastermind" behind this elaborate landscaping: I think he was either assigned the task, or inherited the task originally assigned to his father-in-law Rial Lake, by higher-ranking Masons who, unlike Munson and Lake, understood its real meaning and significance.

The following passage, about a speech made by F.W. Munson, seems to rule out the likelihood that he would knowingly support an organization such as the KKK, provided that he meant the words that caused so much controversy. The passage is from History of the Village & Township of Howell, written by A. Riley Crittenden in 1911. Direct Link:

http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1911/seven.htm

Politics were very warm in Howell in the '50s. When Prof. F. W. Munson was employed to superintend the schools here in 1856, there was quite a question whether the board would employ anyone but a democrat. Prof. Munson had not yet graduated when he came here, and went back to Ypsilanti for that purpose in June. The subject of his oration was "Locks and Keys." After discussing various locks and keys in other countries, Mr. Munson said. "But we need not go to foreign countries. In our own south land there are nearly four million human beings, who send forth the cry, 'Unlock, unlock."' A Detroit Free Press reporter complimented Mr. Munson on his oration, but criticized that sentence. The papers reached Howell, before Mr. Munson returned, and were the cause of quite a warm welcome when he stepped from the stage here. He was charged with making a black abolition speech, and some people wanted him turned out of school for doing so.

Interestingly, the official website of Howell Township considers Rial Lake to be quite an important founder of Howell, as he and the piece of property discussed in this essay are given a full paragraph out of the measly eight paragraphs the website provides to sum up Howell's history:

"In 1835 Mr. Rial Lake acquired 900 acres of land from the United States.  This property is located in Howell and Marion Townships.  Ferdinand Munson married Mr. Lake’s daughter who inherited 240 acres of land from her father.  This land was later sold to the Berry Family.  The Berry family farmed for many years and Fred Berry and his son, Glen Berry both served as Howell Township Supervisor  for over fifty years."

This paragraph also reveals the Berrys to be the longstanding caretakers (Sentinels?) of this property, while also revealing that the Berrys have been significant leaders in Howell for several generations. Perhaps this explains the unfriendly and cryptic vibes that Jeff Wilson and I both felt in our interactions with the Berrys during our investigations.

There is one man who emerges from history as the one man who was known to be closely involved with ALL of the factors that would later ensure that the site of the “M” was surrounded by the Masonic symbolism detailed in this essay. He was an executive of the company who sent an employee to become the first settler of Mason, MI, after which he shortly moved there himself and began running the town. He was the supervisor of the first man to settle Lansing on behalf of the same company. He  was one of the two men who were the driving force behind relocating the capitol of Michigan from Detroit to Lansing. He was the man in charge of designing and building the road from Mason to Howell that would become known as Mason Road. He was also the man appointed by the state to design and build the road from Mason to Lansing. To complete the triangle, he was also one of three men who designed and built the Plank Road from Lansing to Howell, right on top of one of the two major Native American East-West trails in Michigan. (The Plank Road is now Grand River Avenue; 1-96 closely parallels Grand River Avenue between Howell and Lansing.)

This man’s name is Ephraim Bushnell Danforth. I will now use excerpts from various histories of the town of Mason and Lansing to detail his involvement in ALL of the factors that were necessary to create the symbolism that was later exposed by the crop formation. His name, and other names that I feel may be worth closer examination in relation to the Howell mystery, are highlighted in boldface, as are some other phrases and sentences that I find particularly relevant.

Excerpts from the entry on Mason, MI at “InfoMi,” found at: http://www.infomi.com/city/mason/

Mason was settled back in 1836 by Lewis Lacey, who built a sawmill here for the Charles Noble & Company out of Monroe, Michigan. A year later, an executive from the company, Ephraim B. Danforth, moved here and became the first postmaster of the town then known as Mason Center - named after Michigan’s governor, Stevens T. Mason. It became the county seat in 1840, with the name changing to Mason in 1842. It eventually was incorporated as a village in 1865 and then as a city a decade later.

Excerpt from “Early Settlements” link of the Mason, Mi history posted at: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/mi/county/ingham/MasonErlySet.html

Main table of contents of this webpage at: http://www.usgennet.org/usa/mi/county/ingham/Mason.html

The first settler of Mason, or in what is now the township of Vevay, was Lewis Lacey, who came here in February or March, 1836, to build a saw-mill for Noble & Co., of Monroe, and to chop twenty acres on section 8. Upon the completion of the saw-mill, Ephraim B. Danforth, a member of the firm above named, settled at a place and assumed charge of their interests. He located in 1837. The firm owned seven-eighths of the land in the old village plat of Mason.

Mr. Danforth was elected one of the first associate judges for Ingham County in 1838, and was re-elected in 1842. He was twice elected to the State Senate, and in 1848 was appointed by the Governor and Senate a commission to lay out and construct a State road from the village of Mason to Lansing. In 1850 he was a delegate to the convention which framed the present constitution of the State. While a member of the Senate he, together with Hon. Joseph H. Kilbourne, of the House, worked with untiring zeal to secure the location of the State capital at Lansing, and, as is well known, their labors were crowned with success.

In 1850, Mr. Danforth sold his interest in the village of Mason and removed to Lansing, where he died, Aug. 17, 1853. He was engaged in the milling business in the latter city, and during his residence in the county was one of its most useful and prominent citizens.

Excerpts from the Wikipedia entry on Lansing, MI at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lansing%2C_Michigan

Lansing is the only U.S. state capital that is not also a county seat.

The area that is now Lansing was originally surveyed in 1825 in what was then some of the thickest, wildest woods in the region. There would be no roads to this area for decades to come.

In the winter of 1835 and early 1836, two brothers from New York plotted the area now known as REO Town just south of downtown Lansing and named it "Biddle City." All of this land lay in a floodplain and was underwater during most of the year. Regardless, the brothers went back to New York, specifically Lansing, New York, to sell plots for the town that did not exist. They told the residents of Lansing, New York that this new "city" had an area of 65 blocks, contained a church and also a public and academic square. A group of 16 men bought plots in the nonexistent city and upon reaching the area later that year found they had been scammed. Many in the group too disappointed to stay ended up settling around what is now Metropolitan Lansing. Those who stayed quickly renamed the area "Lansing Township" in honor of their home village in New York.

The sleepy settlement of less than 20 people would remain dormant until the winter of 1847 when the state constitution required that the capital be moved from Detroit to a more centralized and safer location in the interior of the state since many were concerned about Detroit's close proximity to British-controlled Canada, which had captured Detroit in the War of 1812. The United States had recaptured the city in 1813, but these events led to the dire need to have the center of government relocated away from hostile British territory. In addition, there was also concern with Detroit's strong influence over Michigan politics, being the largest city in the state as well as the capital city.

During the multi-day session to determine a new location for the state capital, many cities, including Ann Arbor, Marshall, and Jackson, lobbied hard to win this designation. Unable to publicly reach a consensus due to constant political wrangling, the Michigan House of Representatives privately chose the Township of Lansing out of frustration. When announced, many present openly laughed that such an insignificant settlement was now the capital city of Michigan. Two months later, the governor William L. Greenly signed into law the act of the legislature officially making Lansing Township the state capital.

With the announcement that Lansing Township had been made the capital, the small village quickly transformed into the seat of state government. In 1847 and 1848, just months after it became the capital city, individual settlements began to develop along three key points along the Grand River in the township.

The next passage is from the entry on the North family, Lansing's first settlers, at:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~miingham/Lansing.html

The first of the [North] family to settle in this State was Joseph E. NORTH, Jr., the eldest son, who, in September, 1836, located land in the township of Ingham before it was organized. In the spring of 1837 he exchanged this land for section 32, in Lansing township, before that township was organized, also. This entire section was entered from government early as 1837 by Hezekiah FERGUSON. (On the record at Mason this name is written FORGISON, which may be correct, though good authority gives it as written in the text. Ferguson paid as "boot" a gold watch to equalize trade). In September of the same year his next brother, Henry H. NORTH, now of Delhi township, came to Lansing. Joseph E. was then at work for Judge DANFORTH, of Mason.

The following account of the way Lansing township received its name is given by Henry H. North:

"In December, 1841,Roswell EVERETT, Zalmon S. HOLMES, and myself met at the house of my father, by appointment, and framed two petitions to the Legislature for the organization of two townships. But one name was suggested for the first, - that of lansing, my father saying he wanted it named after our old town of Lansing, in New York. For the second two names were proposed, - Delhi, by Roswell EVERETT, and Genoa, by myself, not knowing that there was a Genoa in Livingston County at that time."

On Jacob Frederick Cooley and family’s interaction with the mysterious and shady Ford brothers, who provided the initial event that brought settlers to the site of Lansing:

Mr. COOLEY was a stranger to everything connected with woodcraft or farm labor, and the prospect of making a comfortable home in the new country seemed anything but pleasing. Becoming at length sick and disgusted, he returned with his family to New York in 1837. But there was something enticing in the West after all, and in November of the same year, leaving his family, he returned to Michigan. At Jacksonburg he made the acquaintance of Jerry and William FORD, or, at least, one of them. These men had, in 1836, laid out a village on section 21, in Lansing township, which they named "Biddle City." Learning that Mr. COOLEY was looking for a place to settle, and also that he was a tailor and his wife a weaver, the FORDs persuaded him that at or near their new town was the place to settle; that it was sure to be a great city, and that the trades of himself and wife would soon make them comfortable, if not absolutely rich. To this enticing story Mr. COOLEY lent a willing ear, and came down to view the country. The nearest government land to "Biddle City" which he could find was on section 30, in the southwest part of the township, lying on Grand River, and about two miles southwest of the new city. It proved to be an excellent piece of land, and the section now includes some of the best farms in the township.

One of the FORDs came along with COOLEY, but only remained a short time, and then departed and left him alone in the wilderness. Mr. COOLEY knew absolutely nothing of the labor necessary to hew out a home in the woods. He had never handled an axe in his life, and in cutting down a tree he hacked on all sides of it, and when he thought it about nearly to fall, ran out of its reach. He did not even know how to plant his vegetables after he had managed to prepare a small plat of ground, but planted potatoes, corn, beans, and cabbage promiscuously in the same hill.

The following transcriptions of two historical markers illustrate the bizarre situation of Lansing’s first Capitol Building, which was built in the middle of a forest wilderness, with a mere handful of settlers as neighbors.

Lansing's First Capitol Building

Early in 1847, three commissioners were appointed to select an appropriate site for the capitol in Lansing. The contract for construction was awarded on June 3, 1847. Building materials were shipped by boat on the Grand River or by rail from Detroit to Jackson and by wagon on cut trails through the woods to Lansing. Gradually, the capitol rose on this site. It was described as "a church-like little structure of wood painted white." The building measured 60 feet by 100 feet, was two stories high and had a cupola. A white picket fence set it off from the surrounding forest. It contained legislative and supreme court chambers, an office for the governor, a few other offices and a library. Completed in late 1847, it was used until the present capitol was completed in 1879.

Michigan's Capitol

Ahead lies Lansing, capital of Michigan. In 1835, when the state was organized, Detroit was the capital, as it had been when Michigan was a territory. The capital, after much debate was moved to its present, more centrally located site in 1847. The city of Lansing did not exist at that time, and the first capitol, completed by 1848, was built in a wilderness. Today, Lansing is the center for state government and for major industries. Michigan State University is in East Lansing.

Excerpts from the Plank Road Law, detailing Ephraim B. Danforth’s involvement with the planning of the Plank Road, later known as Grand River Avenue, found at: http://www.michigan.gov/hal/0,1607,7-160-17451_18670_18793-52865--,00.html

The Plank Road Law

Act No. 132 of 1850
An ACT to incorporate the Lansing and Howell Plank Road Company

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Michigan, That James Seymour, Hiram H. Smith, Ephraim B. Danforth, George W. Lee and Frederick C. Whipple, be and they are hereby appointed commissioners, under the direction of a majority of whom subscriptions may be received to the capital stock of the Lansing and Howell Plank Road Company; and the subscribers thereto, with such other persons as they shall associate with them for that purpose, their successors and assigns, shall be and they are hereby created a body politic and corporate, by the name and style of the Lansing and Howell Plank Road Company, with corporate succession.

Section 2. Said company hereby created shall have power to layout, establish and construct a plank road, and all necessary buildings and appurtenances, commencing at Lansing, county of Ingham, and terminating in the village of Howell, county of Livingston, with the privilege of uniting said road at any point with the road of any other company.

Another entry on Ephraim B. Danforth’s involvement with the planning of the Plank Road from Lansing to Howell, from:

http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1911/six.htm

April 3, 1848, a company was incorporated with a capital stock of one-hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars, to build a plank road from Detroit to Howell also from a point on this road to Waterford, also from some other point on the line, to Milford. The Company was empowered to increase its stock twenty-five thousand dollars at some future time, and then to extend its main line from Howell to "the village of Michigan," now Lansing. A commission was selected to solicit stock, as follows: Henry Ledyard and A. S. Bagg of Detroit, Joseph M. Mead of Plymouth, Augustus C. Baldwin of Milford, and Josiah Turner of Howell. By its charter this company was empowered "to enter upon and take possession" of the Detroit and Grand River road.

Hon. C. C. Trowbridge of Detroit, became president of the company and Henry Ledyard, also of Detroit, secretary and treasurer. The commission made a vigorous canvass and soon had enough money to warrant commencing work. During the year 1850 the plank was laid to Howell and the great enterprise  became a fact. The financial success of the Detroit and Howell road was assured long before the planks were all laid. This caused the organization of another company which secured its incorporation in the spring of 1850. James Seymour, Hiram R. Smith, Ephraim B. Danforth, George W. Lee and Frederick C. Whipple were the commission to solicit sixty thousand dollars of stock. Their company was given the Grand River road from Lansing to Howell. They had raised enough to commence work by that fall and two years later, had the road completed.

Note that one of the men on the Plank Road Committee alongside E.B. Danforth was Frederick C. Whipple, the man who was listed in the 1880 history as having been the "Worshipful Master" of the Howell Mason Lodge for the years 1856, 1857 and 1858. Note that this is a factual confirmation of Ephraim B. Danforth's association with a high-ranking Freemason in the planning of the Plank Road.

The next passage is about Ephraim B. Danforth’s involvement with the planning of Mason Road, taken from this link:

http://www.memoriallibrary.com/MI/Livingston/1880/5/

In 1838, by act approved February 28th, a road was authorized to be laid out by Ephraim B. Danforth, of Ingham County, George W. Jewett, of Livingston, and Albert I. Bull, of Barry, commissioners "from the Grand River road at Howell, the county-seat of Livingston County; thence on the most eligible route, by the county-seats of Ingham, Eaton, and Barry, to the mouth of the Kalamazoo River, in the county of Allegan."

An extended chart of the bloodline of Ephraim B. Danforth has been posted online by one of his living relatives, William Danforth, at:

“The Political Graveyard” entry for Ephraim B. Danforth, found at: http://politicalgraveyard.com/bio/danaher-danhof.html

Danforth, Ephraim B. — of Mason, Ingham County, Mich. Member of Michigan state senate 7th District, 1847-48; delegate to Michigan state constitutional convention, 1850. Burial location unknown.

Here is a summary of Danforth’s occupations in Mason from: http://www.rootsweb.com/~miingham/Page77.html

Ephraim B. DANFORTH

Grist mill, associate judge, State senate

In Ephraim B. Danforth, I believe I have identified the man who knowingly took all the publicly traceable steps to secretly ensure that the "M" site was surrounded by the Masonic symbolism exposed in this essay. The fact that the "M" site is now wedged between Exit 133 and Mason Road can be entirely be traced back to him- he was involved first-hand with the location of the town of Mason, and was the man who determined the course of Mason Road. He was involved first-hand in the location of the very first settler family in Lansing, and was one of the two men who ensured that Lansing became our capitol. (Which, in turn, ensured that the location would become a significant city, and thus, that the road from Lansing, through Howell, to Detroit would become a significant one.) He was one of the three men that made sure that the Plank Road from Lansing to Howell was built right on top of the old Indian trail- a trail which was, in turn, likely planned by the local Native Americans to pass close by the "M" site for easy access.

Though he was long dead by the time I-96 and Exit 133 fell into place, his actions in the past are what enabled the proximity of Exit 133 to the "M" site to occur. If Lansing had not become Michigan’s Capitol, the town could have remained a tiny village, and might not have survived to the present day. (About 20 people lived there for its first decade, until the decision to make it the Capitol was "privately made.") If Lansing never became a city, there would be no need for a major road between Howell and Lansing. Had he not ensured that the Plank Road from Howell to Lansing (later named Grand River Avenue) was built on top of the old Indian trail, any major highways near Howell might have missed the "M" site by miles.

Though it doesn’t directly relate to Howell, the fact that he was also the man commissioned by the Governor and the Senate to build the road from Mason to Lansing does tend to “complete the triangle.” A judge, a State Senator, and an engineer of road planning, all in one- it would be shocking if this man was not a high-ranking Mason.

However, Ephraim B. Danforth was not necessarily at the top of the chain of command that decided to create all this symbolism in the landscape around the "M" site – I think that more likely, it was an “Illuminati committee decision” of which Danforth was the man assigned to carry out the plan, whose involvement ended up being the most traceable in the history books.

One might find the next step up on the chain of command in Charles C. Noble, a man of whom even less is known than E. B. Danforth. Charles C. Noble was the man who headed the company of which Danforth was merely an executive when he first settled Mason and Lansing. Noble was a member of the Michigan Territorial Legislature from 1828 to 1829. (A clue to his possible involvement in the earlier stages of planning of the layout of some of mid-Michigan’s towns and roads?) He became Overseer of Highways for Livonia, MI around 1836 (another clue?) and from 1855 to 1856 represented the Wayne County 3rd District in the Michigan House of Representatives..(His status as Danforth’s boss in his company might mean something, but then again, the fact that he outranked Danforth in his company does not mean he outranked Danforth in the Masons.)

The following passage from a history of the old cemetery in Mason, MI describes another venture shared by Noble and Danforth other than Noble's sawmill business. The passage is found at:

http://www.rootsweb.com/~miingham/CemHistories.html

The old part of the present cemetery, containing about  one and a half acres, was leased by the board of health of the township of Vevay, Sept. 19, 1844, from Charles NOBLE, John B. and Samuel SKINNER, and E. B. DANFORTH, for the term of 300 years. This part is nearly filled with graves.

More is known about Charles' son, Alfred, who was one of Livonia’s more prominent early citizens. Alfred Noble was President of the American Society of Civil Engineers and of the Western Society of Engineers, and was referred to in the Engineering News of April 23, 1914 as ".... the leading American civil engineer of his time....." Read about Alfred here: http://www.geocities.com/histmich/noble.html

The Wikipedia entry on the Alfred Noble Prize reads:

The Alfred Noble Prize is an award presented by the combined engineering societies of the United States, given each year to a person not over thirty-five for a paper published in one of the journals of the participating societies.

The prize was established in1929 in honor of Alfred Noble, Past President of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

It has no connection to the Alfred Nobel Prize, although the two are often confused due to their similar spellings.

Here is the first paragraph from the ASCE's official webpage on the Alfred Noble Prize :

This prize was established in 1929 and consists of an award from the income of a fund contributed by engineers and others in honor of Alfred Noble, Past President of the American Society of Civil Engineers and of the Western Society of Engineers, for the purpose of perpetuating his name and achievements. The American Society of Civil Engineers is designated as trustee of the fund.

Who are the "others"  who have been contributing to this fund, and who exactly established the prize? I'd like to know, but those details are more vague than in any of the other entries for the 81 engineering awards described on the ASCE's page. (Link to their index of awards:   http://www.asce.org/pressroom/honors/awards.cfm?prmid=1 ) Perhaps the reason is that the ASCE didn't go into more detail is because this particular award was established and is funded by a group of Freemasons who wish to remain anonymous. Since the ASCE leaves out the detail of who established this prize and the detail of who endowed it, and since the Masons keep their membership lists secret except for elected lodge officers, I can only speculate that this may be the reason.

A Google search on "Charles C. Noble" will bring up many different websites with "famous quotations" pages. There are 4 quotes attributed to a "Charles C. Noble" that are ubiquitous, yet none of these websites, save for one that I found, provide any information as to who this man is. The most famous quote of this particular "Charles C. Noble"  is:

"You must have long range goals to keep you from being frustrated by short term failures."

The one webpage of famous quotes I found on the internet that does contain a description for the Charles C. Noble who is the source of this quote, provides three words:

"American civil engineer."

Here's the link to that page:

http://www.cheerleading.org.uk/handbook/quotes.htm

Long-range goals... now there's something the Illuminati know something about. If the Charles C. Noble discussed in this essay was indeed an "illuminized" 33rd degree Freemason, it might explain how 4 quotes from him have ended up in so many public compilations of "famous quotations" with nothing known about the source of the quote other than his name. Charles C. Noble of Michigan is not well-known in history, but if he is one of the masterminds behind the creation of the symbolism designed by the Illuminati for their "H20-WELL" project, I can see how he would be revered within inner Masonic circles, and if he had a talent for soundbites, how his quotes would likely passed along inside the lodges to inspire lower-level Masons who would hear the quote and the name of its source, but not the full story behind the man. That would be one scenario to explain how 4 quotes from an obscure "mystery man" leaked into the Great American Quote Book, if the source of this quote is the same Charles C. Noble discussed in this essay.

While Ephraim B. Danforth and Charles C. Noble seem to be major players in the initial events that enabled the Masonic symbolism around the sacred site in Howell to exist, there are certainly others involved who I have not yet identified, and others who I have identified as warranting further investigation.

Further research on Orman Coe (the first man to make a land entry in the greater Howell area, Howell Township), C.C. Trowbridge (the first man to buy property in the Howell village area, and president of the Plank Road Company), Frederick C. Whipple (the Howell Mason Lodge's "Worshipful Master" from 1856-1858, who was on the Plank Road Committee with E.B. Danforth), John D. Pinckney and George T. Sage (the first two land-owning settlers in the village of Howell, who chose to purchase their land on 12-3-33), Flavius J.B. Crane and Edward Brooks (the men who named Howell and planned out the village's street design), Rial Lake (Ferdinand W. Munson's father-in-law, who originally purchased the land containing the future "M" site), Joseph H. Kilbourne (the man who "worked with untiring zeal" together with Ephraim B. Danforth to secure the location of the State capital at Lansing), and the mysterious and shady Ford brothers (who first coaxed settlers to the wilderness future site of Lansing with a scam) might yield even clearer connections, for a few examples.

The historical website in which I found, by far, the most useful information related to this essay, is the website of the Livingston County Historical & Genealogical Project. Pam Rietsch, the webmaster and head of the Project since 1980, began experiencing some bizarre confrontations from Jan Cortez, the director of MIGenWeb, starting around 2002 or early 2003- shortly before the crop circle appeared. As a result of these confrontations, the Livingston Project is now affiliated with neither MIGenWeb or USGenWeb- meaning it is no longer "officially endorsed" by those sites. Here is Pam's summary of the situation, posted on the main page of the website at: http://www.livgenmi.com/ :

"Because so many have asked me why I am no longer linked to MIGenWeb and for those of you who do not know, but the Livingston County Michigan Historical & Geneological Project is in no longer affiliated with USGenWeb. I tired of the political nature of the whole process. This is NOT what we desired at the beginning for USGenWeb. During several disputes, even contacting the AB for help against a state coordinator that failed to cooperate with several county coordinators that also left MIGenWeb, they never even responded. :((

Keep in mind I did NOT quit MIGenWeb, Jan Cortez illegally de-linked me without cause! She has done the same to several others and is now in the process of trying to rid herself of yet another county that she does not like the coordinator. I recently found out that she is also trying to take over the discussion lists so she can control those too.

I am pleased to be affiliated with the American History & Genealogy Project and the American Local History Network which IMHO are much more like the original project that was started so long ago.

This site is NOT going to disappear, it will continue as always.  It will continue to offer the very best materials for Livingston County MI. The url is not changing, people WILL know how to find the site, of that I am sure.

Sadly due to the collusion of a few people especially Jan Cortez in the former group that I was affiliated with did not understand that a 501(c)(3) is a NON-PROFIT entity and no one by law is entitled to any funds raised by such entity. As a result she did everything in her power to get rid of me and others that have already left that group. To read the entire story, click here."

Here is the URL of the link she provides: http://www.livgenmi.com/Cortez.htm

It seems that starting some time around 2002 or early 2003, someone "higher up" was determined to erase any official endorsement of her website. Perhaps the real reason was so that the content of her website would not be considered "officially endorsed history." Interestingly, Pam Rietsch, in the more detailed account provided at the above URL, has a complaint about the Livingston websites that MIGenweb now currently endorses:

"The interesting thing is that there is now supposedly a new Livingston site on line [at MIGenWeb], but there does not seem to be any data, at least that I could find, thank heavens for the great search engines now. Thankfully most people just go there instead of checking individual states for info. The two links within the county that I did find, well one has bad information and the other I sure did not see any genealogical data there."

Perhaps something was already brewing in Howell when Pam Rietsch's harassment by Jan Cortez began sometime around 2002 or early 2003, in the year before the crop formation appeared. Perhaps it was something like a local news event prompting the Masons to become worried about their fingerprint in the local history being exposed, threatened by the idea of easy public internet access to a thorough Livingston County history resource, or even threatened just by the idea that the website offering this detailed history would remain "officially endorsed" by the government-affiliated history associations. Since the area does have a known history of being the KKK's headquarters north of the Mason-Dixon line, this line of speculation is not that "out-there," especially when considering the KKK-Mason connection and the controversy caused in 2005 by the KKK auction in Howell, which made the national news. If something of this sort happened in Howell in 2002 or late 2003 to prompt Pam Rietsch's harassment by Jan Cortez, it might explain the timing of the crop formation's appearance.

Part 6 - Through The Looking Glass

On August 24, 2003- exactly one month after Mike Esper’s discovery of the Howell formation on July 24- a crop formation was discovered in the field across the road from the entrance to Serpent Mound Park Locust Grove, Ohio. The Great Serpent Mound is an ancient Hopewell Indian earthwork which is shaped like a partially coiled snake with its mouth opening to devour an egg. It is one of the largest and most significant Indian earthworks in the United States.

Serpent Mound and the 2003 Serpent Mound crop circle

Below is the link for the ICCRA field report on the crop formation:

http://web.archive.org/web/20060116173509/http://www.cropcirclenews.com/modules/news/article.php?storyid=164

The Serpent Mound crop formation had the rare distinction of reappearing in the next spring’s growth as an “echo” formation. Here is a link to an article on the “echo,” and a photo of the 2003 Serpent Mound crop formation, along with a photo of its “echo” the next year:

The "echo" of the Serpent Mound crop formation in 2004

For further reading, the owners of the nearby Murphin Ridge Inn have created a tourist-friendly website devoted to the subject of Serpent Mound and the Serpent Mound crop formation:

http://greatserpentmound.com

On September 1, 2004, a crop formation was discovered in a cornfield in Miamisburg, Ohio, near the Miamisburg Mound, another Hopewell Indian earthwork. Here is the link to the field report on the Miamisburg formation:

http://www.rense.com/general57/newcrop.htm

The 2004 Miamisburg, OH formation, "pointing" at Miamisburg Mound

Shortly after the crop circle’s discovery, a Dutch crop circle researcher named Bert Janssen discovered that the geometry of the larger circles in the Serpent Mound crop formation matched up perfectly with the larger circles in the Miamisburg formation. Here is a diagram of the Serpent Mound formation, and another diagram with the Miamisburg formation overlaid in red:

Here's the link to Bert Janssen’s website, where he discusses crop circle geometry:

http://www.bertjanssen.nl/cropcircles.html

There is a reptilian “eye” in the center of the Serpent Mound formation, while the Miamisburg formation’s “eye” has a round pupil; when the interlocking formations’ designed are placed on top of one another, the eye in the centers of each formation deviates between “reptile” and “mammal.” One can easily see how part of David Icke’s message (specifically the part concerning the continuing dominance of Earth by the hybrid human/reptilian “royal” families, of whom some are actual shapeshifters) may likely be a major part of the message of these two formations.

On June 15, 2004, several ICCRA members, including Jeff Wilson and Roger Sugden, created several "test" crop circles in a field in Cuba, OH, as an experimental demonstration of manmade (hoaxed) crop circles. Link:

http://www.clevelandufo.com/cropcircles.html

After the experiment, Sugden observed that the team had unintentionally (but probably instinctually) selected a location for the "test" circles that lay in a straight line with Woodland Altars (the location of the annual ICCRA conference) and Serpent Mound. All three landmarks were within a few miles of each other, in Adams County. This seemingly minor observation by Sugden became a major observation a few months later, when he and Wilson made an amazing discovery: 5 crop formations that had been discovered between July and September, including the Miamisburg formation, had appeared along an expansion of this line! This straight line of crop formations, which had all been examined by researchers from either the ICCRA or BLT teams and verified as genuine, spanned from Miamisburg, Ohio to Oakdale, West Virginia.

The crop formations along this line were:

1)    The Miamisburg formation, discovered on September 1.

2)    Hillsboro, Ohio: an RDF in corn, discovered on July 5. Link:

5)    Oakdale, West Virginia, discovered in April.

(Note: Today- 4/24/07 – I have decided to post this new material before fully gathering all of the links and photos for the above group of crop circles, and also for the group of North Carolina formations that are discussed a few paragraphs further down. The reason is that I felt that the new discoveries that I am bringing to the internet public for the first time in these new chapters needed to be posted as soon as possible, as some of the discoveries tie into extremely recent events such as the Virginia Tech shooting of 4/16/07 and President Bush’s appearance at my old high school – East Grand Rapids High School – on 4/20/07. The missing links and photos will eventually be added.)

There are three other locations that fall along this same line:

6)    Miamisburg Mound, Miamisburg, OH

7)    Portsmouth Earthworks, Portsmouth, OH.

8)    Peebles, OH: an RDF in grass, discovered by Jeff Wilson on 5/9/08, while driving to the 5th

       annual ICCRA conference.

This RDF was in a field very close to the Woodland Altars conference center in Peebles, OH, where the annual ICCRA conference is held. It was examined by Charles Lietzau and myself on 5/11/08, shortly after the conference had ended. A few days later, Lietzau determined the formation to be authentic after he examined his samples from the formation. I will be posting the video from our investigation of the RDF on Google Video soon. For now, here's the only still photo taken at the formation: a reference photo that Lietzau took of me holding up a meter stick next to a patch of flattened grass. (Of course I just had to blink right at the moment he took the photo.)

On page 22 of The Gaia Matrix, author Peter Champoux writes:

“There are no straight lines in nature, as you know. The landscape lines we will be discussing actually describe a wave form much like a DNA spiral. Trans-regional and global, they are similar to the ‘olde’ straight tracks of England, they mark the passage of Earth energy where landscape features, healing springs, megalithic constructs, and churches all align.”

Keep this in mind as you check out the interactive maps- the straight lines formed by crop circles discussed here are not 100% straight, but certainly close enough to make their point. Since ley lines are shaped like a wave form, this may account for the slight variance.

The “coincidence” of these formations appearing along a virtually straight line is amazing in itself, but the synchronicities don’t stop there. At some point in 2004, Champoux sent Jeff Wilson some of his newer ley line charts, which at the time were not yet published. Jeff then noticed that the path of the 5 crop formations matched up very closely with a straight line claimed by Champoux to be a major ley line. This ley line is one of the two ley lines that form what Champoux calls the “Great Cross of North America.”

Below is a map of the line formed by the five crop formations, next to Champoux’s chart of the ley line system of the Great Cross:

In late 2005, Jeff noticed that another group of crop circles had appeared in a virtually straight line: a group of 4 grass circles discovered in North Carolina in 2005. All of the formations had been examined and verified as authentic by crop circle researchers. As in the previous year, the line formed by connecting the four formations pointed directly at the site of the Oakdale, West Virginia crop formation!

(One thing that should be mentioned here: Champoux has not yet made this particular ley line chart widely available to the public, unlike hundreds of his earlier diagrams- an indicator that he may consider the map a work-in-progress. He has made it available, though; he officially released it in January 2007 as part of an expanded data-file package that includes the Gaia Matrix book in pdf form, for sale on his website. The new package includes bonus charts and articles not included in the less expensive basic book package.)

The following is a list of the 2005 North Carolina grass circles that all appeared along a line pointing at the Oakvale, WV crop formation:

In April 2007, shortly before the 4th annual ICCRA conference, I had a hunch that another straight line might be found among a group of crop circles that appeared between July 2006 and March 2007, spanning from Michigan through Arizona. I called Jeff Wilson and asked him if he could plot them out with his map program, since his map program, could accurately represent the curve of the Earth when attempting to plot out a straight line over such a large distance, and since I was unaware of any free programs that could do it at the time. (Now, I think that Google Earth has been upgraded to do this correctly, though I'm still not 100% sure.)

When I arrived at the conference at the end of the month, he showed me a couple maps in which he had plotted out the group of crop formations and found that several of those crop formations did indeed fall roughly along a straight line.

After using Google Earth to fine-tune this line, I found that there are three crop formations that did occur in a straight line along this path, including two from the aformentioned group:

1) Hemlock, MI: two circles in corn, discovered on October 9, 2002.

The 3/07 Chandler, AZ RDF

Below is the Google Earth still of the alignment:

When added to Peter Champoux’s map of the Great Cross of North America, this line of crop circles ends up displaying a striking similarity with the two lines of the Great Cross in the way if fits neatly in between the edges of several biomes. (Biomes are the circular ley patterns shown on the map; they are discussed later in this essay.) The third line is drawn in a slightly darker shade of green than the Great Cross lines on this map:

Because of this striking similarity, my opinion is that this newer line of crop formations is most likely the circlemakers’ attempt to show us a third major ley line of the Great Cross system. (If this is the case, Peter Champoux may need to find a new name for this system than the “Great Cross,” as it now includes three lines!) I do not know if Peter Champoux has already identified this line as a ley line; if he has not, I would certainly be interested in his opinion on the matter.

This third line of crop circles also contained a bizarre synchronicity in that the westernmost two formations- the Chandler, AZ RDF and the Beloit, KS circle- both appeared in a field bordered by a “Gilbert Road.” This suggests to me that the circlemakers are drawing our attention to the names of the roads on purpose- that these two formations’ precise locations along the probable ley line were chosen because of this. With our attention now drawn to the names of the roads nearby, another road name at the Chandler location stands out: Yellowstone Road.

To view and zoom in on the precise locations of the group of crop formations discussed here, check out my Google Map containing 200 placemarks for the locations of USA crop circles & Indian mounds, at the following link:

http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?msa=0&msid=100506713182637583679.00000111fcafeda931baf

This small road ends at one end of the field and resumes at the other. If the road were continuous, it would pass right over the location of the crop formation. To me, this suggests that the locations of these two formations were chosen not only to point out the third line in the Great Cross, but also to draw our attention to the name Yellowstone.

This may be a warning from the circlemakers; not that the Yellowstone supervolcano is inevitably going to blow, but rather that the Illuminati may have plans to trigger it in a last-ditch effort to achieve their New World Order. I think the Illuminati’s favorite tool for control, false-flag terrorism, has been taken away from them due to the snowballing momentum of the 9/11 Truth Movement. Meaning, enough people have caught on that they are now hesitant to stage another similar event, as their methods of false-flag terror have been exposed too widely. This means that they are likely considering the alternatives I discussed earlier in the essay- a staged “alien” invasion or a triggering of Yellowstone. This would also mean that if these plans are exposed as widely as false-flag terror has been exposed, they can also be prevented. I have a hunch that this may be why the circlemakers have drawn our attention to the word “Yellowstone.”

Under this theory, I think that by simultaneously drawing our attention to the word “Yellowstone” and Peter Champoux’s map of the Great Cross system with this series of crop formations, they also draw our attention to the fact that Peter Champoux has marked the Grand Tetons (only a few miles from Yellowstone) as the center of a huge Biome known as the Great Western Wheel. Link to Champoux's maps of the Great Western Wheel here:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/images/sitepdf/fourCorner.pdf

The centers of Biomes have already been shown to be targets of modern-day Illuminati sacrifice rituals designed to reverberate through the grid; for example, the Oklahoma City bombing on April 19, 1995. The Oklahoma City bombing was a false-flag “terror” operation, and Oklahoma City is the center of the Oil Biome.

Link to Peter Champoux's Oil Biome article, which includes a map, here:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/images/sitepdf/OilBiome.pdf

Note: both the Great Western Wheel and the Oil Biome are also shown (unlabeled) on the map of the Great Cross system shown earlier.

The Illuminati may already be preparing the people (through propaganda) to eventually believe that a Yellowstone super-eruption, if it occurred, could only be an act of nature, perhaps triggered by "man-made global warming." In Alex Jones’ interview (or confrontation, to be more accurate) with global warming propagandist David De Rothschild, heir to the Rothschild fortune, an strange, brief exchange occurs. This occurs at about 5:28 (with ads removed.) Here is a transcript of the passage in question, with most of the stuttering removed:

Rothschild: "...and you can say that things are cyclical, you know, and that we've seen these weather systems before, but, you know, the fact of the matter is, our CO2 levels today are higher than any other time in the last 650,000 years. Our civilization has been built around a system of stable weather systems and weather patterns. Our weather patterns are changing as fast as we- or faster than we ever expected."

Jones: "What caused Pompeii or what caused famous hurricanes?"

Rothschild: "Pompeii was a natural disaster which was... of course it was. what do you think caused it?"

Jones: "But- see - my point is that: what caused the divine wind, the kamikaze that blew away the Chinese fleet that was coming into Japan?"

Rather than try to transcribe the whole thing, I recommend checking out the whole interview, for the proper context.

To access the entire audio interview on Google Video, click here:

The fact that Rothschild brought up "650,000 years" and that Alex responded with a question about volcanoes leads me to a hunch that Rothschild is trying to plant this seed in our heads subconsciously, and that perhaps Jones instinctively knew what Rothschild was trying to do and then countered with the Pompeii question. The last three Yellowstone super-eruptions occurred at intervals of about 650,000 years, and the last one was about 650,000 years ago. If enough people are fooled into believing that global warming is man-made, and could eventually trigger volcanoes, then more people would believe an Illuminati-triggered Yellowstone eruption was an act of nature, should they choose to trigger it; thus, a possible motive for David Rothschild slipping the "650,000 years" figure into his propaganda at this stage in the game.

(A bonus for those who check out the whole interview: around 18:30, you can hear the infamous exchange where Rothschild claims that Jupiter and Mars are closer to the sun than the Earth.)

Viewed alone, the fact that crop formations have appeared in virtually straight lines spanning across several states- with several major occurrences- is another major piece of evidence of a highly organized intelligence behind the crop circle phenomenon. The fact that these  lines virtually match up with Peter Champoux’s “Great Cross Of North America” leads me to believe that Champoux is indeed on the cutting edge of ley line research, and is definitely on the right track.

Champoux is not the first researcher to publish maps of ley lines; his work builds on the foundation built by other researchers such as Bethe Hagens and William Becker, who developed a model of the symmetrical pattern of magnetic currents wrapped around the globe called the UVG (Unified Vector Geometry) Grid- a three-dimensional model of the world derived from the works of Plato and Buckminster Fuller. To explore the UVG grid with Google Earth, go to the following link:

http://www.vortexmaps.com/hagens-grid-google.php

Below is a montage put together by Champoux, which features his “Great Cross Of North America” map, a chart (in the upper left corner) of the astronomical alignments contained in the Serpent Mound itself, and another chart (in the upper-right corner) where he superimposed the Serpent Mound crop formation on top of the pattern he found in the New England landscape that he calls the Arkhom pattern- the core ley line pattern near the center of the North American continent at Shelbourne Falls, Massachusetts. In the lower left corner are a few charts of the UVG Grid related to the Great Cross. Here's the montage:

I believe Champoux’s work has taken ley line research to the next level, and the visionary work he has published in his book and website represents the most overall comprehensive and accurate collection of real earth energy patterns yet made available to the public. The correlation between the locations of genuine crop circles and Peter Champoux’s proposed ley lines lead me to believe that a MAJOR category of information that the crop circle makers are trying to impart to the masses - the locations of ley lines - can also be found in Peter Champoux’s work. His ley line maps may become increasingly refined over the next few years, if crop circles continue to appear in locations that correlate with his proposed ley line patterns, which I expect they will. Champoux is well aware of the authenticity of the crop circle phenomenon and their correlation to ley lines and sacred sites, as you can read in his article on crop circles titled “Crop Circles: Earth Operating System Upgrade,” found at the following link:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/earthOS.html

Before I bought Champoux’s book, The Gaia Matrix, I printed out and read everything on his website, www.geometryofplace.com , which is loaded with articles and maps, and basically serves as a great introduction to his research for those who are not yet ready and/or able to lay down money for his book.

In December 2007, Champoux created a YouTube page containing video clips where he personally explains and demonstrates some aspects of his ley line theories. Link to his YouTube page here:

http://youtube.com/user/geometryofplace

Beyond the Great Cross, I have found many things in his work  that I felt should be covered in this essay.

The first was something that tangibly and powerfully reinforces the idea that the symbolism-obsessed Illuminati, whose ultimate symbol is the “All-Seeing Eye,” are intimately connected with a reptilian presence, as detailed by David Icke.

Here are a few excerpts from one of Champoux’s articles on the Trail Of Tears, from the following link:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/images/sitepdf/TrailofTears.pdf

“The Indian Relocation Act of the 1830’s was an overt act against native peoples’ culture and political structure by European Americans. The Indian Relocation Act forcibly moved 100,000 Natives from the southeastern US to the Oklahoma Territory. This removal is referred to as the ‘Trail Of Tears.’ Many thousands died on this 800 mile trek west.

The accompanying illustration shows the serpentine Trail(s) of Tears connects the tribes like an electrical charge to their Pilot Biome home lands. The friction of the New Madrid super fault at the center of this lens on history (memory) and their relocation to the center of the Oil Biome, presents a curious turn of events.”

Below is Champoux’s montage of Trail of Tears illustrations taken from the following link:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/images/sitepdf/TearsTrail.pdf

Another excerpt from Champoux’s Trail Of Tears article:

“Events and individuals of significance typically adhere to geometric patterns that speak to their power and effect on culture. The bee-like dance of tears followed by the tribes of the southeast, in total show a lensic form. The lens is the sign of the Fish, the sign of Christ and a symbol that speaks of a unity between heaven and earth. In sacred geometry it is called Vesica Piscis, the vessel of the fish. This lens is drawn as illustrated. The Trails of Tears in this diagram gives this lens the look of a bloodshot swollen eye.

Expansion of this simple geometry with additional circles at intersecting points generates a ‘Mother Geometry’ known as the ‘Seed Of Life.’ The Circle-Squared and other elemental geometries are extrapolated from this one simple eye on the world.

Located at the confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers the tears of this eye, in the heart of America, is a potent symbol and reminder of both the sacrifice and contribution Native Peoples have made in this country. A seed of life for European American culture and an eye into the suffering and sacrifice of Native Americans. Where are the monuments to these Native American heroes in our town commons? Look deep into the eye of karma.”

So, when the U.S. Government forced large populations of Native Americans to migrate west, the guidelines for their exodus resulted in most of the groups of Native Americans departing from Charleston, TN and Fort Payne, AL, and then moving west to arrive in Tahlequah, OK, Fort Gibson, OK or Evansville, AR. The resulting a group of paths basically resembles a group of bloodshot veins traversing the GIANT STARING LIZARD EYE pattern that Champoux claims exists naturally in the landscape there. (The “pupil” of this eye is located in the center of the New Madrid Fault zone.)

I believe that it is no coincidence that the U.S. Government chose those routes for the Native Americans’ “Trail Of Tears” exodus; I think the symbolism of the staring reptile eye imbedded in the landscape was deemed perfect by the Illuminati, and thus that was the route they forced the Native Americans to walk in their exodus to the west. This would be well within the modus operandi of the Illuminati as described by David Icke.

"The Eye Of Sauron," from the The Lord Of The Rings movie trilogy

On his website, Champoux has an article where he discusses and displays a map containing a major ley line he calls the “President Bush Ley.” Here is the direct link to the article:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/images/sitepdf/moosilauke.pdf

An excerpt from the article:

“The President Bush Ley is so named because it exits to the sea through the Bush Family compound in Kennebunkport, Maine. This ley links Mount Mansfield, Moosilauke, and Ossippee. It is my opinion that this ley line is the reason why this family has such hypnotic power on the American public. The rich and powerful do gravitate to such places of earth energy.”

This may be a major clue as to why the exclusive knowledge of ley lines is a major source of power to the Illuminati, which in turn may explain why the circlemakers are trying to restore this suppressed knowledge to the masses.

The Gaia Matrix contains a whole chapter titled “The Masonic Age,” where Champoux lays forth the ample evidence that the Freemasons have purposefully designed many American cities and roads over the years to key into the locations of ley lines and natural Earth patterns.

The book offers a detailed analysis of this concept, while the website contains briefer references to the concept. However, I will use examples from his website to illustrate his view on this, as they can be accessed by everyone reading this essay. Here’s one example of Champoux’s view on Masonic street planning- a brief excerpt from an article on his website, linked here:

http://www.geometryofplace.com/NewOrleans.html

“At first glance New Orleans looks like a hodgepodge of streets that tries to force a shape, determined by a river, into a controlled rectangular grid. First laid out by the French, the mark of Masonic training is revealed in the sacred geometry upon which this planned city is based. This city's plan is based on the geometry and proportion of life, phi, or the ratio 1:1.618... or the number series; 1,2,3,5,8,13,21, etc., ... Geometries such as these are thought to be sacred because of their repetition throughout nature; God created and as such - sacred. The Phi ratio is found in the proportion of humans, trees, the shape of eggs, shells, and the structure of water.”

Recently, a documentary film was released which, over the course of three hours, proves beyond a doubt that the city of Washington D.C. is saturated with Masonic symbolism, found in its street layout, the design of many of its buildings, and the artwork and statues found throughout the city. The film is called “Riddles In Stone: The Secret Architecture of Washington, D.C.” It is part two of a series, of which the first chapter is titled “Secret Mysteries of America’s Beginnings.”

While the film does not get into a discussion of ley lines, at 1:01:22 there is a brief passage by the narrator that gives some insight into how ley lines factor into the design of Washington D.C.:

"This statue of Dante holding a copy of his Divine Comedy is found in Meridian Hill Park in Washington D.C. This is the same park said to have marked the sacred 77th meridian upon which Washington D.C. was built."

The ley line patterns charted out by Champoux directly reference and key into the UVG grid, and in some cases, the ley lines he identifies directly parallel the lines of that grid. The "sacred 77th meridian" is one of these lines. Here is an excerpt from page 26 of The Gaia Matrix:

"Another alignment of the Universal Vector Geometry (UVG) is a north/south ley which passes between Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD. Earlier we identified the Empire Ley along the 42nd parallel. Ther Washington Ley follows a meridian pf 76 degrees 50 minutes longitude."

In April 2007, I noticed something in the street layout of my hometown of East Grand Rapids, Michigan that may be an example of high-level Masons not only planning streets based on their knowledge of ley lines, but also inserting their symbolism in the street layout. Here’s how my new discovery occurred:

I have used Google Earth to reproduce a map of the Great Lakes Biome’s pentagram, which is a ley-line system with the town of Sault Ste. Marie (which straddles the Michigan/Ontario border on the East side of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula) at its center, plotted out by Peter Champoux in his book and on his website. Here is Champoux's map of this pattern:

My interactive Google Earth map of crop circle/Indian mound alignments, which includes the pentagram of  the Great Lakes Biome, can be downloaded at the following link:

http://bbs.keyhole.com/ubb/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1216510/Main/1194720

A couple years ago, after fine-tuning my Google Map to attempt to match Champoux’s diagram, I noticed that one of the 5 lines of the Great Lakes Biome’s pentagram crossing the lower peninsula of Michigan is roughly parallel to an alignment of two key buildings in East Grand Rapids. This alignment is between  East Grand Rapids High School (located at the NE corner of Lake & Bagley) and Grace Episcopal Church (located at the NE corner of the intersection of Plymouth & Hall) where Gerald R. Ford’s third and final funeral ceremony occurred.

The map on the left shows the locations of East Grand Rapids High School (upper right corner) and Grace Episcopal Church (lower left corner), with the alignment between the two buildings marked as a blue line. The route of Gerald R. Ford's funeral procession is marked with red arrows. On the right is the satellite photo of the same area.

When I marked the line between these two buildings onto a map, it created a startling image in the street layout of East Grand Rapids, which gave me a hunch that this might be a ley line. It is a triangular street pattern evoking a pyramid with a defined capstone—the mark of the Illuminati. The top of the pyramid is at the intersection of San Lu Rae and the west fork of San Lucia; the short road separating the capstone from the base of the pyramid is the east fork of San Lucia, and the base line of the pyramid’s triangle is the alignment. In other words, this pyramid only exists with the addition of the alignment of the two buildings onto the map, meaning the symbol is hidden except to those who would know of the alignment of these two buildings to the ley line Champoux depicts. (The largest mansions in East Grand Rapids - other than the mansions on the shores of the town’s lakes - are all located just above the “capstone” of this pyramid.) For me, the theory that high-ranking Masons have long planned cities and roads based on ley lines is worth taking into serious account when "ley hunting."

One of the most interesting things about this discovery for me was the fact that my suspicions from several months before were based purely on factors OTHER than geometry. When Ford’s funeral occurred in my town on 1/3/07, several things about the locations of both the ceremony and procession drew my attention to the subject of the possibility of ley line-based Masonic street planning having occurred in East Grand Rapids. This event got me thinking of many factors related to this possibility. Below is a list of some of these factors:

Gerald R. Ford was a high-ranking Freemason who spent many of his childhood years in the house of his foster parents, located across the street from East Grand Rapids High School at Lake Drive and Ogden. The procession’s route started  from downtown Grand Rapids, then SE on Lake Drive, south on Breton Road, and then west on Hall street, arriving at the church at Plymouth and Hall for the ceremony. After the ceremony, the procession proceeded north on Plymouth and exited towards downtown Grand Rapids.

Link to the official East Grand Rapids website’s pdf of the procession’s route here:

http://www.eastgr.org/files/ford%20procession%20route.pdf

A few weeks previous to the funeral, a friend had told me that a certain straight segment of Lake Drive - starting just East of East Grand Rapids Middle School, past Ford’s boyhood home and East Grand Rapids High School, and ending at Wealthy Elementary School – aligns with the setting sun at the Summer Solstice. When I saw that Ford’s funeral procession followed almost the entire length of this segment before turning south on Breton, it ignited an internal spark where I felt it was important that I look more deeply into the subject of ley line-based Masonic street planning, both in my hometown and elsewhere in the U.S.

After learning the location of the church where Ford’s final funeral would be held, I immediately had a strong feeling that there was something special about that location known to high-ranking Masons, because the church was in extreme proximity to the home of a family that I have long thought of as the most obvious candidates in East Grand Rapids for a family of deep “royal” descent that I personally know.

During this period of research I also began to suspect that there was some significant ley line activity around the center of East Grand Rapids. This hunch was based on what my friend had told me about Lake Drive, on the location of Ford’s funeral procession and boyhood home, and on my personal experiences in the East Grand Rapids public schools, which I attended from 1985 to 1993. I also began to theorize that East Grand Rapids is the primary home for the wealthiest and highest-ranking Freemasons in West Michigan. To illustrate one of the many factors that leads me to that theory, here is the cover of the 1992 East Grand Rapids High School Yearbook:

The symbol on the cover of this yearbook is the official logo of the high school; it also appears on the school’s official class rings. Flip our class logo upside down and you get a very familiar symbol:

Oh, how clever: an "E" for "East" in the center of the square-and-compass, instead of "G" for "Genetics." The "Eternal Flame" adds the finishing Babylonian touch. Yes, my high school's class logo is a combination of the  Illuminati's Eternal Flame with the  Freemasons' square-and-compass, with an "E" where the "G" would normally be.

When President Bush gave a speech on the "War On Terror" at East Grand Rapids High School on 4/20/07, two days after I discovered the alignment of the church and high school, and the possible hidden pyramid in the nearby street layout of East Grand Rapids, I knew he had been scheduled there because his handlers knew he would feel right at home there, fully powered by the disproportionately wealthy and Masonic crowd and the ley line activity around the high school. (Throughout his visit, I was with the protestors outside, holding up a large sign that read " 9/11 WAS AN INSIDE JOB / WWW.INFOWARS.COM " featuring a Masons' square-and-compass for the "A" in "WAS" and an Illuminati pyramid for the "A" in "AN.")

In the schools of every town, there is a system of social hierarchies and cliques, as we all know. However, during my years at school, I always felt that the unspoken system of values that determined the “in crowd” among the males at East Grand Rapids High School was somehow different than the social system of your typical American school. Extreme competitiveness, blatant racism, cruelty, the willingness & ability to tell a slick lie to the gullible, and (most of all) wealth were always traits associated with the male “in crowd” there- all traits that I suspected were more a theme among the male “in crowd” in my school than in the surrounding schools. In retrospect it is clear to me that the social system at the EGR schools was strongly influenced by the values of the wealthy high-ranking Masonic families that populate much of East Grand Rapids, and that’s what made it different from the surrounding schools in the area. The wealthiest children there always formed the core of the “in crowd” during my experience there, and so I believe the values that they had inherited from their parents trickled down to the rest of the students, thus becoming the values required to be part of the “in crowd.” (Needless to say, I was never part of the “in crowd” there. But rather than get into a tangent about the details of my years in the EGR school system, I’ll move on to the next item.)

The exact area of East Grand Rapids discussed here was designated with the number "33" on early plat maps of Grand Rapids, as can be expected with a stretch of land that is important to the Freemasons. Links to the earliest two plat maps I could find are provided below.

While I originally thought the alignment of EGR High School and Grace Episcopal Church WAS the ley line depicted by Champoux in the Grand Rapids area, I have recently begun to think that the center of Champoux's ley line (tough to pinpoint due to his large-scale map, and the possibility shown by the crop circle lines that his ley line maps, while overall accurate, might be a couple of miles off the mark sometimes) is pretty much  the way he depicts it in his map- passing through an area just west of the Grand River, a few miles west of the city.

After discovering the possible hidden Illuminati pyramid in the layout of East Grand Rapids’ streets, I began to explore more locations along the five ley lines of the Great Lakes Pentagon that cross the lower peninsula of Michigan. I found that the line that stretches from the Chicago area to Niagara Falls crosses directly through Ann Arbor, just south of the main campus of the University of Michigan, and crossing right over the main football and baseball stadiums. (I went to the University of Michigan for three years; every graduating class of East Grand Rapids High School has had more graduates move on to the University of Michigan than any other college, and I was part of that statistic.)

Next, I noticed that the  line connecting Grace Episcopal Church and East Grand Rapids High School could be extended directly through the campus of Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, neatly bisecting it diagonally. (It seems that certain key schools may have been placed on major ley lines on purpose; in this case I used the school as a "landmark" to test this theoretical ley line)

(I have included the Great Lakes Biome's pentagram in the map, but not the theoretical ley lines mentioned above; use the "Add Path" feature in Google Earth to see for yourself.) Throughout history, leaders have performed sacrifices to “appease the gods” at sacred sites which have consistently been later discovered (in modern times) to have been built at the intersections of ley lines. In modern times, overt human sacrifice by leaders has not gone away-it’s only gone underground, where sacrifices by leaders occur either in secret or “hidden in plain sight.” This concept also came full-circle for me on the same day (4/18/07) that I found the hidden Illuminati pyramid in the street layout of East Grand Rapids.

What I noticed that day was that the 4/16/07 mass shooting at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA, which has already been exposed as a government-planned “black-op” by Alex Jones (see www.infowars.com ), occurred only 25 miles away from the intersection of the two lines of the Great Cross of Serpent Mound. One of the two lines of the Great Cross (the NW-SE line) passes within 10 miles of the University. During the incident, police stood down for hours, until the death toll reached 33. According to Alex Jones, 4/16/07 is also a significant date in the Illuminati's ancient ritual sacrifice calendar.

My take on what this means: forces of light, love and truth, via their crop formations, have already confirmed that this location is a genuine intersection of two major ley lines; the Illuminati have now also confirmed this, with the government “black-op” and sacrifice ritual that was the Virginia Tech massacre.

7. Conclusion

The discoveries resulting from knowing that man-made, landscaped symbols are in the landscape in Howell, that the Illuminati put the symbols there, and that the circlemakers pointed it out with a genuine crop formation, would help to verify that not only are the Illuminati (as described by the authors mentioned in the first paragraph of this essay, especially Icke) real, but their secrets (and thus, their power) are being given away to the masses by the circlemakers.

While the Howell circles have exposed an Illuminati secret (and thus were likely created by bonafide enemies of the New World Order), it must be considered that some of the other genuine crop formations reported might actually have been created by the Illuminati, or may be in the future, even though the very existence of the phenomenon opens minds (which would seem to place crop circles in direct conflict with the Illuminati/New World Order agenda). One cannot underestimate the layers of deception the Illuminati are capable of stacking; if they thought enough people were looking for a new “word of God” in the fields, ready to instantly believe any message found in a genuine formation, then - if they had the means - they (the Illuminati) could work deception into even this form of communication, trying to confuse the themes and messages that their enemies are establishing with the masses, while setting the stage for a new global religion to help keep the masses under control as the old religions dwindle.

However, it is possible that the Illuminati are simply not capable of creating genuine crop formations, despite their access to highly advanced technology, and are already employing a different method of confusing and diluting the messages of genuine crop formations. I’ll explain:

As I wrote towards the beginning of this essay, I think that the most likely source of genuine crop formations is an organized group of intelligent spirits who manifest the physical creation of crop formations by either directly manipulating forces of nature, or by literally working with conscious nature spirits sometimes called “devas.” If this is the case, then I would suggest that only a positive spiritual force could solicit the cooperation of nature, or of  “devas,” to create a genuine crop formation. The Illuminati are a "demonic" force polluting both the spiritual and physical environment of the planet; it seems unlikely that they would be able to solicit the cooperation of a nature spirit in any context, unless the spirit represented a malevolently destructive force. In most real crop circles, the plants (when the formation is in plants that are still green) continue to grow healthily after the pattern has been laid down, undamaged; this indicates that the creators of crop formations enjoy a happy cooperation with nature.

In recent years, some British crop circle buffs began voicing the opinion that it doesn’t matter which crop circles are genuine or not, that they should just be viewed as beautiful art. Since then, this has somehow become a commonplace attitude among many of the “croppies” of Britain, where crop circles have become a genuine tourist industry. Meanwhile, several teams of professional hoaxers in Britain, including (Team Satan) which leading crop circle researcher Freddy Silva claims is funded by the Rockefellers, have been very busy creating dozens of hoaxed crop circles every year in the same region around the Stonehenge area that has long been the world’s “ground zero” for frequent and spectacular genuine crop formations.

On top of this, one thing I heard from several researchers at the 3rd annual ICCRA meeting in 2006 was that the British crop circle research community is now so divided by infighting that these days, it is a significantly smaller percentage of crop formations that appear in England every year that are being examined, measured and tested for authenticity by researchers using consistent methods. This infighting among the British researchers may be at least partially due to admitted CIA operative Jim Schnabel’s infiltration of the British crop circle community a few years ago, when he first befriended most of the highest-profile British researchers, then pitted researchers against each other with Machiavellian subtlety, and then finally published a smear campaign against the entire community in the form of a book called Round In Circles- a book that also “concludes” that all crop circles are manmade.

In contrast to this situation is the U.S crop circle research community, which has currently not been infiltrated and divided anywhere near to the extent of the British crop circle researcher community; almost every crop formation that appears in Canada or the U.S. is visited by members of either the ICCRA, CCCRN or BLT research teams (which are all large groups of crop circle researchers, each with dozens of researchers across the country ready to be deployed to visit any crop formation that appears nearby) and, whenever visited by an ICCRA member, tested for authenticity using consistent  methods. Thus, each of the crop formations that appeared on Peter Champoux’s “Great Cross of Serpent Mound” in North America between 2003 and 2005 was tested, documented and verified as authentic using consistent and sound scientific methods. This situation may also explain one of the reasons why the hoaxers are so rampant in Britain, unlike the U.S.

In Britain, between the frequent hoaxes by professional (funded) hoaxing teams, the lack of consistent testing of formations due to infighting in the crop circle research community, and the rampant spreading of the “It doesn’t matter which crop formations are real” attitude in the region, the Illuminati may have already succeeded at making it difficult to decode the larger patterns of information that the circlemakers have attempted to lay down in Britain over the last few years.

(Although, I have a feeling that any message in a crop formation lost due to lack of proper documentation by researchers will be repeated by the circlemakers in other formations at later dates, until someone gets it. For example, it is my hunch that the one of the reasons that a new crop circle appeared in Mike Esper’s field in Howell in 2006 was because I, the primary mortal translator for the previous formation, made a grievous geometric error in my placement of the 2003 formation on the satellite photo the first time around. When the 2006 formation appeared, I noticed the error and corrected it. When I added the new circle to my diagram after correcting the placement of the 2003 formation, it ended up vastly strengthening my case that a Mason’s square-and-compass symbol does indeed exist in the landscape there, as it corrected the angle of the "square" to 90 degrees.)

Until the British crop circle research community reunites under the knowledge that they’ve been infiltrated and weakened (both directly and indirectly) by Illuminati forces, some of the messages of the last few years of British crop formations may be lost, for now.

Science is definitely the initial first step in bringing the reality of the crop circle phenomenon to the full awareness of the masses; knowing which circles are genuine, based on scientific tests, is a crucial first step for anyone wishing to decode any crop formation.

However, in cases where the opportunity to visit, measure, examine and test a crop formation has been lost to time, it may be possible to find clues from the formation anyway, should something be known about it that fits into the language established by previous genuine crop formations. Finding consistent ways to decode known genuine crop formations might help us retrieve the possible messages that may have been encoded in unexamined formations from the past, and might even someday help us guess the likelihood of their authenticity. My hope is that my translation of the Howell circles inspires at least a few new entries in the “Crop Circle Makers/Mortal Human” translation dictionary, whether or not all of the details of my interpretation turn out to be accurate.

I think that one of the major messages of the crop circle phenomenon is the locations of ley lines. In the absence of crop circles in a region, there may be other ways of figuring out where they are. Aboriginal sacred sites such as Indian mounds and stone circles tend to be built on intersections of ley lines; finding three such sites in a straight line would be a major indicator that that line is a ley line. Using programs such as Google Earth to plot out sacred sites may reveal some of these lines.

In June 2008, I began to explore this idea further, after another viewing of the video (mentioned earlier) where Peter Champoux experiments with Google Earth to demonstrate several trans-continental ley lines to viewers. (Link to the "Google Earth Leys" video again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Heo0b8eP4r0 ) While it is yet unknown whether Google Earth is truly accurate in calculating the curve of the Earth into alignments, Champoux's demonstration inspired me to use the program to see what kind of alignments would result from a complete map of Indian mounds and authentic crop circles for the continental U.S.

So far, this map-in-progress has yielded some very interesting results- especially since I shifted my focus to Michigan as a strong initial "test area" to begin the task of assembling a truly complete map. Another possible hint to the locations of ley lines may be found in streetlights. For the last few years, I have been noticing a frequently occurring oddity: when I drive after dark in the Grand Rapids area, certain streetlights tend to turn on or off precisely at the moment my car passes by. (I have learned that this frequently happens to not only several of my friends, but many people all over the world, whose collective reports have resulted in studies by paranormal groups who have dubbed these people "SLI-ders," for Street Light Interference.)

It is true that some streetlights have light sensors, and when a headlight hits the sensor it will sometimes "trick" the streetlight into daytime mode, thus turning off the streetlight. However, this is something different. For example, for every four times I pass the streetlight at Lake & Plymouth in East Grand Rapids, it will switch off 2/4 times, switch on 1/4 times, and do nothing at all 1/4 times. And it's not always just the streetlight affected; on several occasions, my broken radio and/or LCD display have switched on at the precise moment I pass these "special" streetlights. On one occasion, at the precise moment my car passed the Lake & Plymouth light, the streetlight turned on AND my radio/clock LCD display lit up with a jumble of seemingly random lines. 2 minutes later, at the precise moment I passed the streetlight at Breton & Oakwood, the streetlight turned on, the radio itself turned on, and the radio's LCD display switched from the jumble of lines (which popped up at Lake & Plymouth) to the correctly-working display of the radio station's address, 88.1- all simultaneously.

My car radio has been broken for over a year, as I have intentionally left it that way due to my hunch that by doing so, I might experience enough of these bizarre occurrences with my broken radio, and in the process, possibly figure out another form (besides crop circles) of the spirit world communicating the locations of ley lines to the living.

In 2007, these various occurrences with certain streetlights had been happening to me so frequently (once a day on average) that I finally started plotting out the streetlights on a map of the Grand Rapids area, as well as key landmarks of sites that were significant to the local Native Americans in Grand Rapids' past, such as the Hopewell Indian Mounds Park, Lake and Kalamazoo Drive, and Fisk Lake. I had a hunch that it might amount to another major hint from the same spirits behind the crop circle phenomenon. (Ley lines are "spirit highways" according to some Native American traditions; perhaps spirits have an easier time communicating with the living near ley lines, in this case through the act of turning streetlights on or off.) Sure enough, when I made a Google Map of streetlight occurrences I had experienced and Indian mounds in Grand Rapids and started connecting any three points that occurred in a straight line, the first patterns to emerge were two triangles, both with the Illuminati-pyramid-style street design I had discovered in East Grand Rapids just above the triangles' centers, positioned true to the different shapes of the two triangles to create an Illuminati pyramid in each case, when viewed from the appropriate angle for each triangle. (Perhaps this - combined with the large ley line from the Great Lakes Biome's pentagram - makes up the core ley line framework on which the locations of East Grand Rapids' central streets were planned.) Link to my Google Map of my personal streetlight/radio occurrences and Indian sacred sites in Grand Rapids here:

I recommend that anyone reading this essay who has also noticed frequent streetlight occurrences do the same thing- you may be surprised at the patterns that emerge on your map, as long as they are genuine incidents, not to be confused with incidents with the streetlights that are equipped with light sensors that sometimes get "tricked" into turning off the streetlight due to your car's headlights hitting the sensor. If you are a "SLIder" like me, creating a Google Map of the streetlight incidents in your hometown may reveal some very interesting alignments. I think that another form of direct one-on-one messages from the spirit world may be found in certain appearances of animals. Native American traditions held that animals will sometimes appear to a person at key moments to deliver a message from the spirit world, with each animal symbolizing a specific message that relates to the characteristics that define the animal. I think that this belief has a strong basis in truth; my personal theory on the phenomenon is that some spirits may have the ability to influence animals to cross a person's path at key moments, with the purpose of delivering a symbolic message, without the animal itself necessarily being aware. An excellent introduction to this concept for modern-day readers can be found in the form of a popular book by Kevin Andrews called Animal Speak.

To demonstrate why I am taking these personal "coincidences" seriously enough to be willing to put my belief on this matter out on the internet for public consumption, I will relate another personal incident where both the streetlight phenomenon and the well-timed-animal-appearance phenomenon were powerfully combined within the course of one minute.

On a late night in April 2007, I gave a ride home to one of my best friends - the same friend who had introduced me to the Animal Speak book and the general concept of messages derived from animal appearances. As we drove north on Sherwood, nearing his house, I pointed to the streetlight on that road that had both turned off and turned on at the moment I passed it on multiple occasions, and speculated aloud to my friend on whether the streetlight might do something this time. The streetlight did nothing right then, but seconds later, a possum calmly walked into the road right in front of my car, and so I stopped the car. The possum stopped in its tracks right in front of the car, stared at our car for about five seconds, and then calmly resumed crossing the road. I then dropped my friend off at his home only a couple houses away, and began heading back on Sherwood towards the streetlight again. When I passed the streetlight, it did nothing, but the display on my broken radio/clock turned on at the precise moment I passed the streetlight! The display showed a strange group of numbers, letters and symbols: J:9.C70 plus the cassette symbol and its accompanying arrow, pointing up. Half a minute later, a rabbit ran across the road right in front of my car.

All of this took place in the course of two minutes; I knew both instinctually and logically that this was one of the strongest of the numerous personal contacts I have yet gotten in this way from the "other side," and the only incident in this general category I had experienced that simultaneously combined a bizarre radio/streetlight occurrence with a conspicuous animal appearance.

To summarize the two categories of potential contact from the spirit world just discussed: I think that streetlight/radio occurences and animal appearances of the kind I have just described may be sources of personal "coded" messages from the spirit world. I think streetlight/radio occurrences may be specific clues to the locations of local ley lines, while animal appearances may reveal personal messages intended as "words of wisdom" from one's guardian spirits to help guide the person on their path in a wide variety of specific categories, specific to the symbolism of each different animal. One thing that these two forms of potential personal communication from the spirit world have in common with the crop circle phenomenon is that NONE of these forms of potential contact with higher forces require psychic abilities- they only require open eyes and an open mind. None of these three potential forms of interdimensional communication require a "middle man" / "priest," in general. (No wonder most forms of Christianity continue to maintain that animals do not have souls! If anything would threaten the corrupt and ancient brainwashing factory that is organized religion, it would be the permanent elimination of the "middle man," or "gatekeeper" that would result from mass awareness of various forms of direct communication from the spirit world.)

While I think streetlights and animals may reveal messages from the spirit world to individuals, I think that crop circles are intended as a communication to the masses from the spirit world, with some formations providing information on two levels: 1) Specific information unique to that crop formation, and 2) Pieces of the grand puzzle of the crop circle phenomenon, which seems to be communicating the overarching message: "Connect the straight lines formed by the locations of crop formations and ancient sacred sites to reveal the Earth's ley line grid."

If the masses become aware of the true layout of our planet's energy grid, I believe it would facilitate our evolution as a society reconnected with both nature and the spirits of our ancestors. On top of that, it would take away much of the Illuminati's power; the layout of the ley line grid on Earth is a major piece of knowledge they've been trying to keep from the masses, while using the knowledge for their own dark purposes. Knowledge is power, indeed.

The Illuminati perceive the power of symbols as so important that many details of their most major decisions seem to be based on the pure symbolic potential. (Example: 9-11. 11 looks like two towers. 911 is the number Americans call in an emergency. Etc…)

Perhaps the Illuminati are correct in their assessment of the power of symbols. Since 1990, the crop formations appearing worldwide, especially in the famous region of Britain West of the Illuminati capitol of London, have grown increasingly frequent and spectacular. On the brink of the Illuminati bloodlines’ planned New World Order,  the symbols appearing in our fields may ultimately be a key factor in derailing their plans and freeing humanity.
