THE INSANE THEATRE
We have assembled inside
this ancient and Insane Theatre
to propagate our lust for life
and flee the swarming wisdom of the streets.
The Insane Theatre is a Doors tribute band featuring D. Adam Estner (guitar, backing vocals), J.D. Jones (drums), Chris "Clorbs" Kemler (lead vocals), and Jim Prange (keyboards, backing vocals). The band first formed in the foothills of Tucson, Arizona in 2001. Previous (and maybe future) participants in our occasional ceremony include Jason LaFleur (bass), Dave McCarville (drums), and Joe Kuras (drums). The Insane Theatre has resumed performing again in West Michigan as of April '06; check the Dates page for more information.
Clorbs is the guy on the cover of "Grummet", and an accomplished actor from the Tucson theatre scene who is also a student of Jim Morrison. Clorbs can be seen in the independent film Idleheist, which was recently released.

In memory of Jim Morrison
My music soars
as a thousand chant
and the mad play
like blood worship
