Scatterdome was formed in July 1998 in a geodesic dome in the foothills area of Tucson, Arizona. The original lineup consisted of Jim Prange (guitar, vocals), Jesse Buffington (guitar, vocals), Ryan Janac (drums) and Jon Maner (bass). Ryan is currently the drummer for Sunday Afternoon, a Tucson-based band. Other alumnus include David "Bill" Hornisher (drums, 1/00-1/01), Frank Metting (bass & vocals, 9/00-2/01), Geoff Lamden (bass & vocals, 2/01-5/01 and 5/02-9/02), Nick Metzner (MIDI wind controller & vocals, 2/02-6/03), and Matt Clifford (bass & vocals, 9/02-6/04). D. Adam Estner joined Scatterdome in August 2000, filling the lead guitar spot vacated by Jesse Buffington. J. D. Jones began playing drums with the band in June 2002. Jon Chuchvara joined Scatterdome as the bass player in November 2004. The new album, featuring the current lineup, will be released in the second half of 2007. |
